Is that what we call ourselves? Was trying to think of a way to combine the two.

It's a shame that the NGNG guys get such a favorable treatment compared to other fan organizations.

that's because they are paid man well at least the main two are all the others are slaves to the system pitiful little sheep.

This game already launched and released a year ago. Why are they still going on with this charade? They sold a preorder twice, and now they're "launching" it twice. I bet next year they'll do this all over again for the Clans. Preorder these Clan Mechs for Clan Invasion "launch".

What a confused messed up company.

The developers have said for more than a year that Game Launch will coincide with the release of Community Warfare features, and that the Beta Test stage of the game was combat/network testing in the absence of any Faction-Related systems. The Closed Beta party last year was a celebration of the game's to-date developmental milestones, however it was never considered to be a Launch Party because there were no faction-related systems in place.

It's okay, though; everybody gets confused sometimes.

Oh please prosperity...

As if we will get anything resembling anything worthwhile in the CW department.

You know what their feature list for Community warfare phase 1 is? You can set your allegiance... thats it.

Big whooping deal... we can do that right now by setting our allegiance in the forums.

Which is considered a CW feature so, according to prosperity park's logic, the game is released. PP didn't know it, but he was actually agreeing Jesus Box.

I hardly would call that a "community warfare feature" because it still wont enable us to fight specific factions. Its like in mechwarrior 4 solaris declaring if you dedicate your victories to Katrina or Victor.

So it's not a launch party. There is no Community Warfare coming out on that day. So there having a save the sinking ship party is more like it.

I was taking a jab at both PP and PGI. Since both consider picking factions as important features, even though it means nothing without the other features.

Man, can't can't even agree with people these days without an argument.

Well its the only community warfare we had and will have for a while ;)

Wasnt trying to flip you off or anything, just grudging over the fact that what you said is sadly very true.. that "faction allegiance" is actually sold as community warfare phase 1

Including the Developers. You can go by what they say; I'll go by what they do or what is the reality. These are not the same thing. For instance, they said the ECM was balanced at release; the reality wasn't quite so. They say the game isn't launched yet; when in reality it launched last October. They sold a Preorder and everything. Now they're doing it again. But hey, they avoided using the word "launch" last time and kept the "beta" tag on, so I guess it didn't count, right?

Basically they sold a prepreorder.
Now they're selling a preorder.
I guess "at" release they'll sell an order package. But I stand by my original prediction. You'll see another preorder package for Clan Mechs.

I imagine so, and I imagine we'll see more preorders for when the timeline advances highlighting both IS and Clan 'mechs from the new period.

Why wouldn't they have Clan 'mechs for pay? You can use real money to buy Inner Sphere 'Mechs now. If they were exclusively MC I could see a huge outroar, but I'm guessing that they will have a separate economy system to purchase Clan 'Mechs that you will earn in game like c-bills.

If I had to guess, I wouldn't say separate economy. BUT, enormous c-bill and MC cost? Yes, I could definitely see this.

My secret fantasy is they make "Honor" a currency and penalize players who break zellbrigen, so it's hard for a Clan player to play dishonorably.... :)

I think they will make a general announcement that invites are going out followed by the invite email. Thats just a guess though.
