Clearly orange, but it says yellow. Artists are weird.

That's not black, that's midnight-navy. Get your monitor calibrated.

Also "Flame Pattern" does not sound ANYTHING like what the -P mechs are shown in.

but Phoenix isnt Flame right?

Mea culpa, I'll go back and edit that out. Phoenix and Flame are most likely different patterns.

I can't help that you are over sensitive when someone tries to discuss something with you, nor did I try to mock your posts like you have mine.

Oh, you wouldn't hire me, touche, touche ( loz, like you would even know you could already have hired me, it's the internet, genius). I'm sure you are your doctors and dentist and other professionals favorite customer, if you tell them how to do THEIR jobs, and then continue to argue where you obviously have no understanding of the actual techniques and processes involved. Entitled and wrongly opinionated customers are exactly the people I intentionally overbid, so I don't have to deal with them and their "convictions".
No, I have never hired you because I have never needed to hire someone with your job skills. So I am safe in saying that. As for my doctor and dentist they like me just fine since I pay them what I owe them for services rendered, but then again they have a job that matters more than helping someone to find the perfect color for the baby's room. (See I can be an @sshole too.) :D

*cries*

Oh the bad man man taunted me!

Yup, when one has no actual argument, that is what one does. I am sure flipping burgers for a living is MUCH more important to life than helping people choose colors though. So I'll leave you to that, and I'll go back to me happy early retirement in the tropics. Because, you see, apparently, my profession DOES matter enough to have netted me a mint of cash. Caio baby!

or we could go back to your "attempt to save face" edit back on post #1000, and just move forward, as BOTH of us have amply demonstrated our ability to be both stubborn and arses?

Not an attempt to save face, but rather an attempt to get us back on topic.

Pretty sure the Flame pattern will be available to everyone for MC, but included free for Phoenix owners. The exclusive Phoenix pattern is the one you're thinking of (concept art and that Battlemaster screenshot).

The exclusive Phoenix pattern will be for the prime Phoenix variants, whilst the Flame pattern will be available for the standard Phoenix variants.

For those who have been asking.

Having seen the Battlemaster and Shadowhawk, I must now see the Thunderbolt and Locust. My mouth... it drools.

Project Epeen, or Phoenix or something like that?

I think it is about bringing the game back from the ashes of despair. Hence the name Project Phoenix. :D

We have already seen the Locust. The Thunderbolt is all that remains.

I'm not sure what to think about that, so our 3rd tier reward isn't actually unique, we're just getting them for free?

Correct, we get it for free on the standard variant phoenix mechs, while others have to pay for it. I always assumed it would be that way. It is the Phoenix mechs themselves that will be unique and matter for the collector.

As I posted in the CDU thread, the only thing he says is that it's coming. He's not saying it's not exclusive to Phoenix 'mech standard variants (and then again, he's not saying it is).

There's not enough information to jump either way at this point.

No, to quote the CDU
  • Mech(s): Locust, Shadow Hawk*, Thunderbolt*, Battlemaster*, Hero Atlas, and Champion Spider
  • Map(s): Crimson Strait
  • Pattern(s): Flame

* Available only if you have ordered a Phoenix Package.

it does not have an asterisk next to it.
