Maybe they see that a jpg was a stupid idea and are working on a new counter? Don't be so pessimistic guys.
Maybe they will change the jpg when their work day starts?

Do people want them working on a new counter, or perhaps something more productive?

It seems that a lot of people are btching about that counter. I have no problem with it and want UI2.0 instead

The colour gift is nice and all, but tbh I'm disappointed in the colours themselves. They have not a single relation with the word "Phoenix". And here I was, expecting some actual red and coral and orange tones for a real Phoenix mech.

As have been said numerous times on the 22 pages of this thread, they're not the PC Gamer colours.

As you can plainly see, all three colours are different.

WebDev != GameDev.

The time it takes for a web developer to update, test and upload a jpg counter once a day: ~5 minutes?

The time it takes for a web developer to query into some database to get the actual value of the orders and use that to dynamically render a counter, and test it: ~ 1 day, possibly up to a week when considering testing and whatnot.

Now if this counter were something much bigger that were going to last for a really long time then that 5 minutes could add up and be worthwhile, especially if its something they were going to reuse the code for in the future.... but seriously its just not a big enough deal to be coded as dynamic at this time if they don't feel like it warrants the work effort to do so.

Thanks for playing "Whose line of code is it anyway?"!

If I were color blind, they might look identical to me.

So far the only thing that "bothers" me is that I would have liked to get a bit more of a custom visual on my Shadow Hawk than just luggage racks on the shoulders (assuming the artwork is representative of the final product).

But then again, I`m getting a Shadow hawk. In September. So I`ll live

As someone from the opposite spectrum, US$60 is more than a month rent over here.
I paid it gladly for the fun and benefit I received.
Also have been putting in half a month worth of rent in MC in the game monthly since beta.

I have also purchased the Overlord pack and Sarah Jenner, and if there is a Clan pack down the road I would most likely buy it too.

Am I correct to assume then that the oil business is still booming in KL? (). I haven't been there for a long while ().

I honestly had to go though a few of your posts to see if you were sarcastic or not. You were not, I was disappointed.

Sorry to disappoint

I'm no artist, but those colours do not look the same to my untrained eye. The closest ones are the greys, but the Phoenix one looks more sandy. The Phoenix black has more grey in it than the PC Gamer one, and the Phoenix red is almost orange as compared to the quite red PC Gamer one.

Oh, and hope you enjoyed your little stroll through my post history

To me the only difference is that the PC gamer red is more pinkish. There is also a very, very slight difference in the 'greys' (which look more like cream).

So you agree then that they are not the same as the PC Gamer colours?

Phoenix red looks really close to be the premium Blood Orange. Too bad my company already have it unlocked..
