And show me the statistics of how many founders bought phoenix? 10%? Huh?
Why does this matter? We get badges on Oct 15th... And why does it matter who bought what?

Negative. The colours mechs and everything related to the package will be handed out Oct 15th. The only thing given out early was the 30-day prem. time Early Bird bonus that was available between June 25th-July 25th.
But, once you get the colours in October, you can apply them to any mechs that you own.

Just posting to point out that the filname has changed to "https://static.mwomercs.com/img/phoenix/popups/loyalty_2.png" without reference to an exact percentage.

I've not seen a C-bill nerf. I have seen my c-bills go up in matches where I got in and did my best though. If I just sat back and took potshots, I get next to nothing.
Perhaps that's what's going on. Incentives to getting in and doing some dirty work.
Well, I think what they're doing is more incentives for assisting, scouting and possibly other expanded roles. I've seen match where we'd win, and I was out scouting/capping (capture mode) primarily and I only received 80k cbills. On the other hand, I have been on the loosing side, but in a offensive mech with plenty of damage/kills and received 120k cbills. 120k for a loss is not a nerf, but I'm suspecting that if I spend my time in more support roles in the future, their will be greater rewards for it.

I'd love to be able to (legally) break into people's houses and measure the color accuracy, contrast, etc of people's monitors so I can find out once and for all if a vast swath of the population is actually color perception impaired or if most people have cheapo monitors.

Rampant color blindness? Terrible monitors? Admittedly, it's a hot orange, but it's clearly nothing whatsoever like the PC Gamer Red.
My guess is because of this:
It's called Phoenix Red, even though it seems to be closer to Orange in colour temperature.

Viewed on wide gamut rgnb color profile on my Dell U2711, it looks more red than orange. Viewing it in photoshop through srgb, it looks orange. It is, however, called phoenix red.
Most people have their monitors set up in a totally scewy way though, so who knows what they're really seeing.

I think it could, but in the case of the Locust that's actually a benefit. Those longer shield panels means more damage go to your arms and less to your torso.

OMAGERHD ITS' PAY 2 WIN!
Sorry, had to say it. Seriously, it would make the locust just a tiny, tiny bit better than the other variants. Yeah baby.

I'd like an external customization that we could do in order to make things like that. For example... Kintaro, "Arm-pit shields," plates of metal that come from the armpits of the Kintaro to protect the CT from the sides.

They did talk in the past about mech customizations, such as alternative heads for an atlas, etc. *sighs dreamily* Alas, I doubt we'll see such awesomeness anytime soon.
