Since it can take considerable time from pressing the launch button to the actual start of the match, some people (including myself) seem to alt tab and do something else while waiting for the battle to begin.

Some of those people (including myself) can then get distracted and will join the battle a little late. And believe me, I always feel bad when i power up late in a cap match because of that.

Making Betty's announcement "all systems nominal" audible even when alt-tabbed would solve the issue.
