Well, it's simple, I'm a newbie to the Battletech universe, and I was wondering which Mechs would be available on the game's timeline, so I dug deep into sarna's files to get a complete list.
I'm listing both IS and Clan Mechs on a timeline ranging from 3049 (the date I've read the game will start from) to a few years in the future (up to 5 years from now, that's why I'm listing Clan Mechs too) with the corresponding date for the ones unavailable right now.

Let's start.

(I've only made it up to Medium... i need to sleep. I'll complete it tomorrow. I might have missed a few)

Update: Reduced the WoT (Thank you spoiler code). Working on the Heavies and Assaults.
I know some of them aren't available anymore, but it was 3 am, i couldn't sleep, so i didn't really check everything :)
If i have doubts about one, i'll add it just in case.

Updated with the Heavy Weights. Working on the Assaults.

Update: List completed. Phew...

Digging into Sarna. I salute you, sir. Yeah, there's a pretty big slice of 'Mechs that are technically available in 3049, but there's always a few that would be exceptions, such as Star League 'Mechs (90% of which are sitting comfortably in ComStar bases), etc. Still, LEARN! I'm happy to see you wanting to know more about this awesome universe that we are waiting to once again be a part of.

Now you just have to filter further to exclude Mechs that went extinct or only exist in ComStar stockpiles.

I applaud your willingness to get the facts yourself. Remember, Information is ammunition :).

remember it's not the mech, its the mech warrior. In the TT game I had a jenner take out a warhammer and a victor by rolling lucky shots and getting crit hits. Oh BTW can I use MY dice that I used in the TT game. I could roll boxcars all the time. :)

Yep, definately nice.
Unfortunately "Introduced" by 3049 doesn't mean they are actually available.

Still more than a lot of members do though lol. :)

Also, You can't add Wolf Dragoon Mechs either since IS doesn't get their designs until Outreach is Nuked into near nothingness

Like i said in a earlier post. No Annihilator for 17 years!

It's always nice to have new people come into the Battletech Universe. So posts like these don't bother me one bit. Kind of wanted a list of mechs anyways hehe.

It's from the Support: Munitions card from the Battletech CCG. Amazing game, I highly recommend it. You can learn a lot about the BT universe from it, especially mech variants and whatnot.

Technical Readout: 3039 is the latest book to provide technical data for units before the recovery of LosTech and the technological renaissance that accompanied such events as the recovery of the Gray Death Memory Core and the Clan Invasion. This mammoth tome comes from the perspective of the 3070s looking back on the beginning of the War of 3039 and includes the Unseen, combat vehicles, aerospace fighters, conventional fighters, and Star League downgrades.

Technical Readout: 3050 Revised was the managed response to the issue of the Unseen like previously the Technical Readout: 3025 Revised had been. It supplanted the original Technical Readout: 3050 (with even the same product number), dropping the Unseen designs and replacing them with newer (at the time) high technology weapons and equipment, which were available (at this title's printing) via some of the rulebooks. Thirty-one combat assets were included in this revised edition, most being Level 2 versions of the 'Mechs and combat vehicles introduced in Technical Readout: 2750.

There are a whole lot of Star League 'mechs on this list that are not truly available in 3049, and certainly not to most units in the playable factions. Good work nonetheless.
