I can't use figures because I don't know what baselines you are using for heatsink recycle, but, in MechWarrior you should be able to switch from firing hot weapons to firing a cool grouping and lower your heat pretty fast. In MWO just a couple of small pulse lasers firing on recharge will stop say 14 DHS from allowing your mech to cool. Result is, it seems right now your mech is only cooling when you are not firing. It just shouldn't be that way

In other mechwarrior games SL weren't worth using that's why they built no heat, in MWO all weps are viable so the heat up your mech.

But how can 2 small lasers hold your heat at maximum?

Small Lasers were actually much better in MW3 and MW4, btw. They really ripped stuff apart.

Chain fire, backspace is your friend! On hot maps however, even with 20 DHS its going to take a while to cool down.
