P.S: that video is still good, sadly parents dont wanna be parents but best friends with their kids nowadays, I know that from personal XP with my twin daughters and their mother.

Gamers shouldn't be nasty = agree, but Jim's ranting videos are headache inducing, about 30 seconds worth of opinion stretched out and repeated for about 6 minutes too long, ugh.

Let's say hypothetically I tried to sell you something for $30 by telling you that it would have a very specific feature and describing that feature as a "fact" and saying it would never change. You give me $30. Now I remove that feature I told you about and tell you it's too late for a refund. You would just walk away from that huh? People are generally frustrated with PGI but most of the "hate" right now is personally directed at one person who has been directly quoted as lying to us on behalf of PGI. If PGI is taking money for a product and then switching it out for another one that's a good reason to be angry.

That said nobody should be getting death threats. I'm pretty sure nobody is. I'm pretty sure people just feel robbed. I'm a founder and I know I've been lied to something like 4 times now. This happens to be the straw that broke the camel's cool.

pgi also said that under beta conditions the game is subject to change, as a founder you gambled on what they said. it's why i don't give people money for half a built car. yep it's **** but it's an official and lawfull scapegoat they have for being outright liers. same thing happened with the xj220 jag and they too had the subject to developement clauses which meant everyone couldn't sue them for a turbo 6 instaed of the two years earlier v12. interesting thing is unlike jaguar pgi's performance is well under par to the overal goals, wonder if the courts would see this product as fraud and false advertisement to those whom paid money on what they were led to what the product was supposed to be. So sorry you're hypothetical canot be given a straight answer cause this trainwreck game is more complicated than that.

thing is they always ignore people who pay money and I would think you have a right to be angry about them screwing you up along with premium time people recently and you should demand refunds. say the game is bad say you were "robbed" and demand your money back. that's fine i would too if I felt I spent on cash on "A" and got "B" instead. But pgi said it could happen that's why they hold so tightly to the beta tag. in the end though its up to the law and the courts to see it your way or theirs, whether you get the money back or not, but i'm sure the eula's you keep clicking on when you except to give money and play the product will screw you over. That's why they exsist so that you gave your consent away along with your money. I feel for you I really do and i would encourage you get your money's worth and do fight for a better game like your money said it should've been or get the money back.

now the actual topic in hand ie: threatening death, violance or anything else unlawfull towards people, is for mental cases or idiots, do not be that guy.

Too many people think that this is "their" game. It is not your game. It is PGI's game. If you do not like what is being done with it, leave. I hated it when the Highlander came out, and PPC+Gauss was completely out of control. So I left for awhile, but I came back, and it is much better now. Don't request a refund, that's immature... especially since the game is advertised as Beta, meaning anything can change at any time, for any or no reason. I think that we, as a community, need to not focus on the negatives, since that makes the game look bad. We need to focus on the positives of the game, and get revved up for launch.

I, for one, want this game to do well so that I have plenty of opponents when the game goes live. Unlike many others here, who constantly scream "I won't give this game any more of my money! I want a refund! I'm taking the ball and going HOME!", and who talk {Scrap} about PGI, I'm going to be hyping this game to my friends, and I'm going to help them have the best time they can.

I would totally agree with you BUT the story of PGI and MWO is different than a normal game. In the beginning they were close to the community because the game based on the money of the founders. So the community financed the game and the producer worked close with them. But after a while they stoped communicating with the fanbase and changed the base of the game. From this time on they gave a s.hit of the community. Thats why all are so angry. And now they started a second founder programm calles Phoenix BEFORE they implemented 3rd PV and after most of the fanbase bought this package they came out with 3rd PV as a standard. And they have told the community month after month that 3rd PV will be seperated. Thats a lie. And because of that the people want their money back.
