in all honesty and as much as I hate the idea of 3pv the current state of 3pv is irrelevant and imo of no threat to those of us who choose not to use it.
however if buff is to come then the hardcore is at least an option according to pgi at this point. so that is indeed encouraging...maybe, could be another trick.

Nice, they didn't "lie" they simply "went back on previous statement". Good to see he listened to us and that they are going to keep 1st person and 3rd person seperate. Oh wait!

Mad? No. Completely disgusted. Its like all of LoL's community moved here and cause nothing but issues, some sort of top of the line problems, and pure negativity. You can only deal with so much until you don't care about how possibly rude you can respond to it. I couldn't imagine how PGI feels after worthless bashing from people who offer zero to the community. You won't play nice when CW is released. Extremely high chance you are expecting too much and will respond exactly the same. Some sort of easily negligible comment and harassment to follow. :C

Not so, and your conclusion is all wrong. I don't know about you but I have played this game since early CB prior to purchasing my founders pack so accusing folks that they 'offer zero to the community' is presumptuous and btw I have no obligation to contribute to the community anyhow but its the game im concerned with not the community.

Your taking it far to serious, and far to emotionally in the forums imo.

People will complain, more so when an attempt is made to continue a very specific genre of game such as BT/MW. I have played since Battletech solaris and yes I am very critical.

I can see your point if you don't personally care about this issue... I honestly can. And there are some replies that are just unnecessarily rude but I find the majority to be well-written and expressive as to the issues as those people see it.

There are many people who actually DO care about the community and, to them, this is the best way to show that they are in fact engaged and WANT this game to be great. When the community is silent, THAT is when you have a problem.

Also, this forum is downright polite compared to some... I remember the WoW forums and D3 forums and these threads look like sunshine and lollypops compared to some of those threads. The ratio of thought-out arguments on both sides is higher here, with less (albeit still some) of the blatant abuse.

It's like bf3 dev saying bf3 is the most balanced game, when in it assault class OWNS any other class and assault with m16a3 OWNS any other assault with other another assault rifle.

Here is how 3PV should be implemented:

Forget the stupid drone, that's not Battletech. Just make 3PV but make it with Fog of War in mind, for example in 3PV you wouldn't be able to see what you wouldn't in 1PV. I.E. your cockpit window is a LINE of SIGHT and the window only.

I thought about it months ago, since you mentioned 3PV, how dumb are you to not think about it?

You're absolutely right. It's the forum users who created this whole mess! After all, they didn't contribute to the community - if only they had funded the game around which it revolves, essentially creating it, perhaps that would count as contributing... These forum users also broke their promises on numerous occasions, let's not forget. And when they finally broke one such specific promise in such a way that even their usual lawyer-speak could not save them through technicalities of language, they just excused it by saying "we were on vacation," ending with "well we meant to tell you, sorry!"

And worst of all, these horrible forum users even told people who had paid them money, putting food on their table and roofs over their heads, that their concerns are not worth addressing(because they are on an island), that they should sit in the corner for complaining about where their $$$ went, and that any questions about what changes were made to their investment will be eliminated from existence("were patchnotes"). Oh, and don't forget that time one of the lead forum users responded to a photo showing a problem with his product in two different ways - saying "we'll look into fixing that" to the investors, but "WOW! cool pic!" to the public via Twitter.

Those forum users are just awful, aren't they!

I'm exceedingly grateful for what I have, especially since I worked very hard for it! Like my money, for instance. . . which I spent on this game . . . which was a terrible mistake, in retrospect.

Players literally rioted in that game. Know what CCP did? They pulled their heads out of their *****. Seriously, read some of the threads about the upcoming patch. It's amazing how much input players can have in terms of the game direction now (or maybe I am just so used to PGI that it just looks amazing), and Eve has been out for 10 years. No "it's just beta" excuses there.
