you do know that the seismic does not come default with every mech right? you have to pay 6mil cbill for each one..you also do know it has limited range right?..and i guess you also know if the cat is not moving it will not show up on seismic..right? so what the hell are you trying to say?

Don't forget the high GXP costs!

Which keeps us moderators quite busy...

Constructive criticism is welcome, complaining is okay as well, but when posts start violating CoC, we remove them.

As a mod can you push for the CoC to get revised for more precise wording then?

Stop trolling
I am merely trying to understand how there not being seperate queues invalidates the complaints about there not being seperate queues. It's quite the non-sequitur and I can't wrap my head around it. Can you explain what he means?

Allow me to ally some fear and anger here. MWO is designed to appeal to the following group of people:

1 - Kids between the ages of 12 and 16 who have never played a space robots game before. They have no expectations and their parents are relieved the game doesn't have any sex, swearing, or gore.

2 - Die Hard Battletech Table Top fans who want a game based on of a turned based board game. Most of whom are in thier 40s, single, and have money to burn.

These two groups naturally overlap, and have a lot of common goals. PGI is right to do their utmost to appeal to these groups of players. However there are a lot of MWO players that are not part of these groups.

MWO is not designed for the following groups of players; If you are a member of one of these groups, MWO is not for you.

1 - Those interested in organized competative play.
2 - Those interested in a first person real time simulation.
3 - Those interested in a persistent universe.
4 - Those interested in a balanced metagame.
5 - Those with average or better eye-hand coordination.

You've got about 4 weeks left of that sycophantic nonsense, then where are you going to be?

Do you seriously think PGI are suddenly going to get with the program within 2-3 patches? It's beta only in name, they're taking my money, and still implementing features which have the backing of nobody.

This is exactly how it'll be for release. CW is a myth until 2014 - I'm out.

"It was just released!" "Community warfare isn't even out!" "The clans are brand new!" "It's fixed in UI 3.0!"

3rd Person view! Hell yeah! This is a good move PGI, now finally there is a reason to purchase all those camo colors...

EDIT: Also, I got a lot of hate for saying in a match the other day that lava should do more damage. 20% more dmg? Yes please. Take that every guy who didn't like my idea!

And that's great, the best way you can show IGP how disappointed you are at the game is to stop playing.

more people need to like this...look at michael j. fox!

btw...hardcore mode is disabled...so wheeeeeeeeee! the fears of forcing third-person view upon all is nigh!
glad they disregarded all the ideas from their test, like not making it toggle-able...or making it at all instead of wasting man-hours on it and making an actual tutorial went unnoticed again..

another side-effect of pushing this out is the fact that the whole point was because small children couldn't figure it out in a few matches because they couldn't see which way there legs were facing seems to have been lost...but at least i can see some 'mech-butt

No, the best way is to stop paying.

But you just know they'll pick up another package like Pheonix to try to gloss over stuff again, like they did with the last one.

"Yay, everything's broken, but look at the shiny mechs, buy the shiny things!"

I don't know why, but after today's patch, I have 5 disconnects to desktop in 6 matches. I have now stopped for the day whilst I figure out the problem. Is anyone else having problems?

3rd person mode sucks its like playing with your arms tied behind your back. Really there is no advanage to playing in it. Seismic dose a better job of tracking enemy mechs then the limited peaking you can do with 3rd person. Really you people are over reacting.

Sure wished they come out and said this earlier. Would have saved me a lot of money.

Yeah but you wouldn't know precisely where to aim, what type of mech it is and if it's facing you or looking away and going to walk right past you and you can shoot it in the back etc.... The amount of abuse potential is staggering really.

Me too. I'll see his little drone and run around the corner and start shooting. It's like me hitting someone with a Flash Grenade with Recon on and I can see on the mini map exactly which way they are facing and how far back. I see a drone, I know someone is there. They will know what mech I am in, but I know they are there hiding. I can choose to stop and look for another apth or tell my friends where I saw the drone and they can charge with me and kill him. Or split up and go on each side.

I swear you guys make it out to seem like 3PV is only one sided advantages.

Yeah and Prosperity alluded to it not being active until CW time or around there. Also who even knows if the queue's can withstand the split, especially with 8 more people per match to fill. Between mixed queue's and 12v12 they increased the number of players needed for a successful match or a better way to look at it would be the player demand on the matchmaking system by something like 73%.
