Well the topic name says it all, will players be able to hook up a controller (X-box 360, PS3, etc..) and play with that or is it going to be strictly mouse and keyboard? Not in closed beta so sorry if you're already able to use controllers and such.

They did say that it would be configurable, so I guess that, if you can see the controller in Windows and it can control the various axis and has buttons, then it should be useable.
Do you think you'll have enough controls and/or fine control on one, though?
I'm hoping to use my X52 pro throttle/stick combo, so kinda coming at it from the other direction, but a related question.

There might be an issue with the xbox360 controller not having enough buttons for all of the functions in game. Other than that, I think you should be ok.

If there aren't enough controls i can always setup the controls to the same controls I've used in every game, but i think it'd just be 1000x easier if the controllers would work with perfect efficiency.
