Yeah, I think if you want two, you want a Jager. With SRMs.

Yeah my Ilya is getting dusted off as we speak...

I was doing okay with the LBX before the spread reduction but now I'm just amused at how quickly everything dies.

No I run 2xLB10 and 2xLL and sometimes I use 3xSSRM instead of extra ammo.

I'm about to try out my 4xUAC5 Jaeger.

Yeah it's even better now. You have to know how to use the LB10 but once you learn it you got a bad *** weapon.

It still needs a tighter spread. If they could get it so that it hits just one component of most assault sized mechs at about 400 meters it would be perfect. As is, this is a huge improvement.

LB-X buckshots are designed to do what they do right now... what you're asking is for the possibility to switch ammo types which isn't a priority for PGI. I'd up the damage for .1 or .2 damage, but it's a lot better than what is used to.

VERDICT 2.0

AC/10 still superior to LB-X for ranges over 300m. PGI should look at different mechanism for buckshot. It could be a solid slug that has splash damage or they simply give us switchable ammo.

The LBX is pretty good now and should leave the AC10 superior at medium to long ranges.

Before this patch the LB 10-X was my worst performing weapon. Now, it is one of the better ones. Balance achieved. PGI: don't touch a thing with the LB 10-X! It's excellent now.
