After the hunchback buff, I started to think.
This is my build currently.

If I remove artemis I can add another heat sink and upp to a std 270 engine, but I'm a little afraid to try it since it's expensive to switch back and fourth.

Anyone care to share their opinion?

If you want to hunt lights, take out the Artemis and either upgrade your engine or take additional heat sinks. Or both.

As you probably know, Artemis will keep the spread on your SRMs tight. That makes it good for targeting specific points on an opponents mech, which means you'll be more effective against slow moving mediums, heavies, and assaults. Going with straight SRMs will give you a double-barrel shotgun against lights, cicadas, and anything else moving faster than you can reasonably target.

I don't use Artemis in 4SP. That mech has 4-5 lasers to shoot at 270m so the missiles can be used just for close encounters. But if you take Cent-A with 2ML and 3SRM6 then certainly Artemis is a must. It all depends.

This is what I put in mine, same concept, and so far Artemis makes only a wee bit of difference inside 170 meters if that helps...it does tighten them up further back, and on SRM 4's, Artemis is a waste IMO, Sixes benefit but the near 100 kph you do mastered, depends entirely on playstyle, and role your team gives you, or the role you prefer while pugging.

The head laser is only when I need a single shot, or get zombied, so heat is actually 40% without it. I keep it on Group 4 on my Razer Naga.

Hope that helps?
