Yo I was just wondering if there were any people on here that played Mech assault for the xbox and if you have xbox live, I remember the community from that game long after the 360 came out, not everyone got along but it was great. Also sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong place I have no idea what im doing lol.

Sorry to report to you buddy, but the MechAssault Servers have been such down for some time. I didn't personally play that game, because it's MechAssault, but to each's own.

But yeah, the servers are all shut down, so you can no longer play anything but system link or single player.

I played both MechAssaults single player, but never multiplayer. If you're interested in getting up to speed on how different a Mechwarrior game is from the MechAssault games you'll want to look into the free release of Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries over at mektek.net, and the free Crysis Wars mod Mechwarrior Living Legends.

Lol I knew the servers were shut down, I just meant if anybody wanted to Add me before this game comes out. Also I played one of the mechwarrior games on Pc for a while I can't Remember which one it was though.

Just thought of it , I played Mech Warrior 4: Mercenaries. that game was fun as hell.

I used to play both of them a lot ( had a slow computer during that time period). It was fun because it allowed me to introduce my friends to mechwarrior. I used to play under TL61. Still have an account, its trenticon. I mostly play halo and mass effect now. Waiting on transformers fall of cybertron for Xbox and MWO for PC. my two favorite franchises of all time coming out with games in one year?? I will have no social life anymore.

All X-box original games have been shut down so far as multiplayer goes.

Never had live on my old xbox, but these were fun games if not exactly MW games. Speaking of xbox mech games I hope I can get my steel battalion controller working with MWO.
Also for games that have LAN you might still be able to set up games using the likes of 'xlinkia' or similar services. They let you play LAN games over the net. You just have to run an application on your pc with your xbox hooked up to it.
