I got a couple visits from Niko, but I was posting in that 3rd person thread and they announced the higher posting posters in that thread would be checked for threatening/insulting posts so I don't know if I was being preened for an invite or overlooked for moderation....

hoping it's the former!

Playing moderator and looking at your post history, you posted most in this thread, then you did make a somewhat lukewarm post about purchasing only Mechbays as you aren't sure this game is up to par yet. Honest feedback though, nothing negative or inflammatory for sure.

Same here (as far as founders goes).

I'm hoping we'll know sometime by next week. Anything earlier than that will be a treat. Doesn't mean I won't lurk the two threads though (this one and the original one announcing the event).

I only got a visit from Niko too, and I'm not against 3rd person. No sight or sound of Paul Inouye on mine though. I don't think they are only inviting 3pv supporters. I wouldn't care one way or another, I'd just like to go.

I feel you, and while I think in my head "ERMAGERD It's been 7 days already!" In reality it's been 5 business days, with PAX taking Russ's and Bryan's time away from this event, not to mention that Launch happens before this event, so that may even take priority.

I'm hoping that Russ, Paul, or Bryan aren't solely responsible for this event, as they have too much on their plates already IMO what with all that's going on. I'm not sure who's doing the planning and whatnot (Garth? Niko?), but who knows how many applications they received that they have to go through.

Now all we can do is wait. Luckily I live like 20 miles from SF, so it's a hop away.
