I recently installed MWO onto my computer. I clicked on patch on the main screen when you open the game. I waited for Patch 1/1 to download. When it was done, it just sat there saying "Download Complete!" The big button on the bottom right corner still said "Please wait." I waited a while, then I restarted it. The same thing happens except instead of "Download Complete!" It says Patching - Patch 1/1. Please help!

I'm having the same problem. I waited a whole hour for the patch to download, but it said download complete while the progress bar was only half full and didn't move AT ALL after that. So i closed the patcher, re-opened it, and it went to downloading the patch AGAIN, except this time it closed the whole patcher and did the same thing every time i opened it. So i uninstalled and i'm downloading the patch again. gotta wait another HOUR. Thanks mechwarriors... I would love to know how you got this working. I'm getting quite frustrated.

Yes, it downloads and then says "download complete" and then it begins the patching process. I don't know why but it does take a long time so when it's patch time, I start it, turn off the monitor and then come back abit later. From memory, some have taken over an hour or two.

i am having the same problem. i have left the patcher run overnight. when i come back the patcher seems to have closed it self with no error message when i restart the patcher it says downloading patch and continues to do nothing

Mine is broken too, but now that I look back on it it has moved a bit mroe closer to the end, which is odd because it says Download Complete.. Ughhh getting so pissed.

its ur temp dl or cache internet folder have the same issue last years

Guys post your patcher logs. there are 2 of them.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\PatcherLogs

bootstrap_patcher_log.txt

and

frontend_patcher_log.txt


from that i can probably tell you whats wrong.
