Name: ther4zor
Group: iso
Background: I've read a few of the books, played some MW and a ton of MC and MC2. I like the idea of a cerebral FPS and I'm hoping that this game is as good as the source material.
Other Interests: I enjoy stuff.

Here is a House Steiner introduction thread since there isn't a clear one posted yet. If you don't like writing a few sentences for a short or long introduction, your group affiliations, MW/BT related game background, or other interests then you can just fill in the following fields quickly.

Name: beloc
Group: steiner defense force
Background: stuck on a backwater mud ball of a planet waiting for the next jumpship to arrive, then its on to the next mission
Other Interests: making young upstarts pay for under estimating good tactics

Thanks,

Moku

For this tasty snack you need:
1 Hunchback,
1 Jenner,
Jump jets,
4 medium lasers

Apply jump jets to the Jenner. Heavily season the shoulder joint of the Hunchback with medium lasers from above.

Serve with a cold pitcher of Steiner Blue ale.

killdare? where are you?!

I was wondering the same, haha.

Callsign: SpoonHandle (back in the day started as Draco, then Draconis and finally Draconis77 as others with the same names continued to pop up)
Group: None currently. Retired Steiner from '95-2001.
Background: I was only 13 when I started playing Netmech on Kali. Played with the same group through Mercs, MW3 and MW4 (all under Killdare if my memory serves me correctly.) I'm trying to remember other guy's call-signs... Frost & Phoenix, Extreme sounds familiar, but that may just be wishful thinking. Stopped playing ~ Spring 2001 due to life.
I'm back and excited for MW Online. So far it's looking like the game I've been waiting for and I'm hoping to catch up with old friends, so please say hi if you have a better memory than me.
Other Interests: WH40K, Gundam, Movies & Music, most PC & console games.

Name : Julie Hoffman
Rank : 1st Leutnant
Unit : 11th Lyran Regulars
Callsign : Candy Box
Background : Based on the MWO timeline of 3048/49, thats one of my rare Mechwarrior characters. Mostly i am playing as infantry or armor sergeant or officer. Started playing BT back in 1995/96 with a young Davion Leftenant in service of the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers and piloting an vintage Longbow. Through the years, rules and expansions i've focused on Infantry and Armor play. In the last couple of years game rounds have been become uncommon because, most of our 10 girls and 2 boys starter round from 1996 have a family and a job which both left not so much time as years before, to play. Overall roleplay started with D&D in 1994/95. Other interests are, my daugther and husband, reading, writting, music, asian languages (primarily japanese and chinese), BT, D&D, tailoring ghillie suits for my comrads and me and also other duty related equipment. Currently i do my ninth year in army service, married since eight years and have a two-year-old daughter. In civilian life, iam an energy systems electronics specialist for sensor technology and troubleshooting. In 2009/10 i was able to qualify to study eletrical engineering, which maybe is an option in three years if my current army service ends.

While not a historic model, The Knights of Glory and Beer will take to the field.

I have deployed in every conflict House Steiner has fought in, as well as Battletech 3025, all my combat drops were flawless.

Name: Johan Karl Grecco-Steiner (cannon derived PC in development)
Group: 17th Skye's Own "Boys of Summer"
Background: Have been playing since inception, though it has fallen off over the last few years.
Other Interests: Grand strategy, grand tactics, futuristic space and dirtside combat, Warhammer 40k, building worpress websites, reading and writing.

I am looking forward to the off-line world as much as the online. Its been a bloody long dry spell since there was a flood of Battletech creativity around the web. In fact, I'd like to find out what Steiner wikis there might exist and whether or not there are others interested in establishing Steiner oriented Regiments or other oganizationson the web. Speak up!
