Background:   I have loved and played Battletech since I was a kid, I remember looking at the box set at the local comic shop and saving for weeks (at that age an eternity) to get the cash together to buy it.  I have owned/own every Battletech game, resource manual, etc. and most of the novels.  I love Battletech. LOVE it.  I used to play in the NBT league, back in its heyday and was  a member of the Lyran Alliance.  I believe I played under the call sign Killjoy, but I can’t remember for sure.  It’s been a long time.  I have played pretty much every Mech game, Mech commander, MechAssault, you name it.
 
Other interests:  Reading, Sci-fi, comics, RPGS, War gaming, Movies and magic: the Gathering.  The usual Geek stuff.

Background: As u see I played MBT Solaris VII and 3025. But I didn't fight very well, because after beeing a recruit i got the leader of the Solaris Devils. I also played Mechwarrior 2. And I read some books.

Favourite: If it is possible in the Game I would be again a Solaris Devil. If it isn't possible i would be a Steiner!

Despite the fact that I prefer lighter mechs, House Steiner fits me best. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of MWO so I can get some multiplayer experience. Mech: AXM-2N modified(large pulse laser replaced with ER large laser and extra LRM ammo)

Background: The AXM-2N Axman dubbed Britannia first entered service in 3048, serving in several minor skirmishes before the Clan invasion. Britannia was nearly destroyed while providing a rearguard action during a Jade Falcon assualt on the planet it was stationed on, and marked for scrapping. Her current pilot bought her from the salvage yard and has spent the last few years putting her back together. The only major design difference between this and the standard AXM-2N is the replacement of the Large pulse laser with an ER Large Laser and extra ammo for the LRM launchers. The thinking seems to be that a fire support mech doesn't need a pulse laser, but if something does get to the fire support line, 3 medium lasers, a large laser and an axe should make whatever gets there think twice.

Group: No specific group as of yet, however, I will be bringing one or two other friends to the game (who are Steiner fans/supporters), we'll see how it goes from there.

Background: Fascination with the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe ever since childhood, have played most of the video games released to date [few exceptions], extensively played MW4/MW4Mercs online [even past when the servers shutdown and we needed alternate matchmaking]. Own about 30 B-tech novels, absolutely love the literature; played Tabletop for a couple years now. Capable of piloting any and all, though preference for assaults. Formerly went by the callsigns "Massenmord" and "Catastrophe" for MW4Mercs.

Thats in the past now and none of the people responsible for that will have any type of say or role in this House Steiner, so we'll see how it goes.

Character Background: I was born the eldest of five, three younger sisters and a younger brother, to the minor house of Kerrigan, on the outer edge of the Inner Sphere. Served as a militia officer from the ages of 14 to 18 before being sent to train at the Royal New Capetown Military Academy. I was trained in Electronic Warfare and Covert Operations during my time at the Academy, and taught to pilot light and medium mechs. After my graduation, I was assigned to Katrina Steiner-Davions personal guard as an intelligence officer, during her service with the 3rd Arcturan Lancers. I fought under her during the coup d'etat of her uncle, former Archon Alessandro Steiner and was field promoted to a First Leftenant in the 3rd Arcturan Lancers after my commanding officer was killed in the fighting that ensued during the coup.
After Alessandro was defeated, and Katrina appointed the new Archon of the Lyran Commonwealth, I was assigned as a liaison to Archon Katrinas younger sister, Nondi Steiner. I came currently stationed on Tharkrad as part of Nondi Steiners Royal Guard.

Battletech History: My history with the battletech universe stretches back to 1997 (relatively short compared to some of our members). My first gaming memories are of piloting a clan wolf Mad Cat in MechWarrior 2 and thinking it was the best thing ever. I played all of the subsequent titles up until around 2005 when I became obsessed with Counter Strike: Source and other more "modern" titles and neglected MechWarriors altogether. I came back in 2010 when MW4: Mercenaries was re-released for free. The trailer in 2009 caused my head to nearly explode by the way, and now I am here having somehow stumbled across the community site.

Background: MW3+ and both the MA. I have been playing MW since I was 3, also played the MechCommander games, played those for hours, I will say that my favourite Mech is the Vulture, first Mech I used and loved it since. I hate house Liao.
Other Interest: For MW, I like finding different load outs for my Mechs, and teaching my friends how to play. I like the Halo, Mass effect, and Star Wars universes.

Anyway, I've played most BattleTech games, and the pen and paper MechWarrior. Oh, and MW1,2 and 3. And MPBT, and MPBT 3025 Beta. Electronic Arts sucks. Anyway, now that that's out of the way.
