Hello,

Knew I had to be a Lyran loyalist. I used to play table top probably 20 years ago. Played MW2 and its expansions, haven't done much recently. Love the BattleTech lore. Looking forward to stomping out some DC scum come August 7.

I hope that all the Houses are relatively balanced man-power wise.

I have played since Battletech was a box set table top game, I remember Aerotech and the first mech expansions came out, I have played most of the PC versions and a few of the console versions of the game. Even got to play the Battle Tech simulator at our local Dave and busters that was FUN!!!!, I used to love the Warhammer and Pheonix Hawk in the original game, Later I really enjoyed the Awesome ( I hear I am somewhat unique in that opinion), Never been much of a fan of non-energy weapons in the games, especially with some of the campaign rules. Looking forward to the release and going to war with ALL my new House Steiner lance mates.

Howdy All,

It is amazing to see so many former wings popping up left, right and centre!

I have been busy of late but am now into that Mech mode of "I will play till my fingers bleed!"

Here is a little of my info...

Name: Wayne
Callsign: Judge:
Group: 6RCT "Apache Division"
Affiliation: House Steiner
My history: I started playing for 6RCT back in 2000 when I started playing MW4 with AD. I stuck with the HS guys and played on ISW for a while but when that failed I lost touch

I look forward to dropping with you guys all again soon!
Judge.

Callsign: Kernel Panik (Prior Gen. SuperBK, ret.)

I played netmech back in the kali days in tkz and the legague before that with House Steiner under Killdare. I played some mw3/4 as well but bowed out of structured play for other games. Been waiting a longg time like eveyone else for a new BT game.

Look forward to playing with everyone again. I see a few old faces i remember from back then.

Group: Not affiliated
Background: Huge MW/BT fan since I was a kid. Never got into tabletop, but I have read many of the novels. Played MW4 religiously for years, and just found MW:LL a few months ago. Dropped some cash on the Founder's Package so that MWO can be successful.
Other Interests: Sci-fi mostly. Warhammer (both universes), EvE Online, Star Trek, etc. Also enjoy some woodsball and riding my Ninja cross-country.

Allegiance locked in. Myself and Rolocookie will be fighting for Steiner.

In the future we may look for further affiliations with a group but I'll wait untill the beta kicks off for the founders.

Name: Nelson Geist

Group: None...yet.

Background: Started with Mechwarrior 2. Played the mercs expansion, First real online game was Mechwarrior Solaris mp online back in the day when compuserve was still around. Also played MW2 Multiplayer a lot through Kali. Moved on to the mech commander series and played a lot online through HEAT service. Played MW3 and 4. and their expansions. Have a friend who played the tabletop game. DIdn;t get too much into it because I played Warhammer, but still had some fun.

I even played the 3025 game that EA almost put out about 10 years back. I had a blast with that game, although I played Kurita to play along side my friends.

Another Aussie! (GMT +10:00)

Name: Paul (callsign: anoshi)
Group: None (looking to join a 10-20 hour/week crew at launch)
Background: Played a stack of MW titles starting with BT: Crescent Hawk's Inception (PC). I will always have fond memories of stealing the Chameleon through the hole in the wall when the final training mission goes bad. Not sure if this was meant to be possible, but it sure made the game a lot more fun when you're first on the road. Have not played BT since MPBT3025 was canned, so MWO's arrival is a huge reload of the universe for me.

Have just about finished re-reading my BT books, saving the Blood of Kerensky trilogy to last to get the timing about right for the start of MWO.

No love for the Clans, and depending how closely the MWO plot sticks to the BT universe, I may run out of Steiner love pretty rapidly as well. Probably best suited to a merc unit on contract to Steiner, and I prefer to pilot light and medium mechs.

Looking forward to the games, if only I could get this founders' pack payment to go through. Very frustrating!

Kneecapper was house leader for a very long time. He has since passed away RIP brother!

"SpoonHandle" really? Oh well, I won't judge because I didn't pick my old name either. You probably remember me better as Starfire. And your memory serves you perfectly. I also happen to know where Killdare is :) Also, remember the old stomping ground housesteiner.org? I still control the domain.

SpoonHandle is my new name, which I didn't pick. Draco/Draconis/Draconis77 I did pick back in the day but I've kind of grown out of it and I don't mind the new name. Anyway, I'm glad to see some of the original guys around. I look forward to playing with some of you again.
