The good ole days. Hehe
Remember when that group of four Mariks came into the Crane and tried to start trouble by trying to steal all our number 4 and 12 billiards balls because they said we weren't men enough to play with purple balls. So while you got them all good and drunk I went outside and moved the Urbanmech they all rode on the top of to get there to the back alley behind the lingerie shop across from the Crane.
When they woke up the next morning under their purple Urbanmech with red and blue stripes in a drunken haze they realized they all had the toilet seats from the Crane around their necks, had no pants on, to the sound of goats hanging from harnesses from the underside Urbanmech bleating for assistance in getting down, all standing around a pile of purple 4 and 12 billiard balls neatly arranged in the center of their drunken box formation with a note placed in front of it stating "You win."
Silly Mariks.
Good to see ya made it back. I'll give ya a call soon.

Pilot: Thaddeus Wilder
Background: If it is a game about giant robots, I have probably played it, starting in 1986ish. Looking to find a good group and am trolling through the recruitment forums. Can play just about anything, but always been very fond of the Timberwolf mech. I find myself doing a lot of catapult and jenner play though. Anyway, looking forward to meeting up with people. Since I do not regularly check this forum, an email to demitrihrothgar@aol.com would be awesome if you would like to try a recruiting pitch.

Group: None, Mostly New Player
Background: I loved the game until they released the Clan stuff. Seriously, I hate the clans almost as much as I hate the pro-Davion angle. I still loved me some IS political fluff, but stopped playing the games. Still hate the clans, still love the IS stuff.
Non MW: Politics and Economics geek.

Callsign: Ornonge
Group: None (Since im new to the online community - wouldn't mind joining one though. Preferably a german speaking.)
Background: Got introduced to it by my brother lending me the Grey Death Triology way back. In spite of enjoying to read it a lot, I never got that deep into the whole BattleTech scene. Still played all the pc games since MW3.
Favorite Mech: Actually I prefer the Marauder (He was just too awesome in the GDT ^^), but don't know which role I'd take on the battlefield. Might even go for a scout (which could turn out to be an Atlas anyways, if I can trust the "U are Lyran if.." posts out here
EDIT: Would the Marauder be even available at the time MWO takes place? Hope it does.

Background: Played a bit back in the 80's, haven't played anything since though I've read most of the novels. Am itching to get back to playing now that the kids are older. I'm tired of piloting a desk, but hey we're Steiners, right?.

Group: Sons of Blokenstein
Background: Jeeves, what is the date? 3049? Quite. Well, I've been at the commanding lark pushing little bits of plastic around since 3025, and hearing the scream over the radio from the pilots I've butchered over the years. Around 3030 I met up with most of the Sons of Blokenstein lads at GGC Griffith Academy on Nathan (smaller acadamy, quite exclusive) where we ran extensive war games training. Over time I met a few other lads of the battlefields of Scadia, and we have been on the field of battle nearly 20 years. We all bunked into the same overlord class dropship, SSS House Blokenstein. With the upcoming biffo, we have formed a loose Alliance, and called ourselves Son of Blokenstein.
Other Interests: Gin, Atlas', cigars, Atlas', fine wine, Atlas, good times with good fellows, Atlas', debauchery and polishing my Atlas.

Call Sign: Fuzzy Bunny
Background: Ramirez is a bit of a wild gun and is rather reckless. A dedicated Atlas pilot he has still managed to pull himself out of several fights that would have been better handled with out rash charges. Even with that his beloved mech the Fuzzy Bunny, don't ask, ussually seems to hold the day. Even if it has been rebuilt several times from silly over extensions. Fortunately for Ramirez the Bunny is not a fast rabbit, making it harder for him to out run his support...
My Background: Long time lover of Battletech and Mechwarrior. I fondly remember a card board box with awesome mechs inside and cardboard and paper maps. When it comes to FPS game pretty much outside from mech combat my only real experience has been WoT. You can look me up there as FuzzyBunny. Looking forward to getting to know you all and stomping other mechs in my Atlas.
