No, we didn't. Bad assumption, some of us didn't want to inflate things so as many people as possible could reasonably get into beta- rather than having someone potentially end up with 2 or more keys. Thus, if I ended up in beta, I wouldn't deny another user what the devs clearly intended.

Joking aside, every MMO I have ever played has had multiple chracter slots. Why wouldn't I want to have a character in multiple factions in MWO, I would like a lonewolf, a merc unit for when my buddies are online, and a house character too.

Dont be judging other peoples names, they pick them for their own reasons and because they represent something for them, show some respect at least to others even if you dont have respect for the beta process

So I'm here waiting patiently to see if I am going to be one of the lucky ones who does actually get into Closed Beta with my ONE account and people are opening 3,4,5 or 10 accounts which in my opinion is totally out of order but you think it is OK!??!

So are you just another greedy no good piece or crap like the person above who admits to doing this?

I was just joking about the names, apologies to anyone who took offense. As to multiple accounts I stated the reason I will do so again.
I want to play multiple factions. I want a Lone wolf for solo. I want to belong to my friends Merc Company. and I am a Steiner fan. And I want to reserve my Pilot names early before they are taken.

I really don't understant the misplaced hate. I realize that having multiple accounts gives me a statistical advantage on a "random" beta lottery, but you guys are really taking this personally. I'm sorry you guys feel cheated, but I certainly don't feel like I have done anything wrong or immoral (but what villian does?)

The hate comes from your post where you basically stated that you put yourself into the hopper for a Beta key 10 times to improve your chances.

You are wrong, on several levels. It has nothing to do with if I or you or anyone else THINKS it is ok or not ok, because that is your opinion. The fact is that it is allowed. Bringing morals or ethics into this to say that it hurts your odds or anyone else's odds makes YOU just as GREEDY as you seem to be accusing me or Major Tom of being. If you want to throw the Greed flag or any other ethical flag about making free accounts, please look that you are in a glass house as you do it.

If you filled out the beta profile for all 10 of your accounts, then yes, that was a very dishonest thing to do and you should be barred from the beta. I can accept you wanting to reserve names, but not if you "applied" for the beta in all 10 of them.
