Possibly my favorite 'Mech of all time, the Marauder, gets my nod, here. Beautiful, menacing, powerful. Even if they have to use the Reseen model, the Marauder should definitely be in the game.

I added the Merlin to the poll, because it's an awesome 'Mech. Someone should vote for it :)

'Mech info can be found on the Battletech Wiki. http://www.sarna.net...l_Readout:_3025

I'll go for the Catapult here.

LRM support mech with enough armor and secondary firepower to handle flanking and lights and some meds on its own. Awesome concept.

Doesn't it ? :)

Hmm, wonder what my favorite is....

The D variant has more heat sinks and no ammo to go kaboom, and was my first love.

But, depending on how Ac's work out in the game world, having a little AC5 to dakka dakka between PPC salvos might really be what the doctor ordered to balance out heat build up.

Hands down the Warhammer. It's design is so balanced for how I like to play and the styling makes it look like it's just there to kick ***.

Marauder; especially the variant that yanks out the AC/5 (and the lone right-torso critical hit slot being its ammo), slaps in 2 more heatsinks, another ton of armour, and mounts a large laser.

Higher heat capacity, More survivability, and an improved damage curve at range.

Still, shouldn't alphastrike unless you like being baked.

Warhammer. Just so iconic to the game and was a blast to play on the tabletop. The only complaint I ever really had wasn't actually the heat problems, but the thin armor on the legs. Even so, love that machine to this very day.

No Champion?

Aw well, Rifleman, I got a soft spot for that mech :)

The Warhammer. Dual PPC goodness backed up by lots of little shots at anything that gets close. It warms my heart... and my cockpit.

Jaggermech, AC2 goodness. Reach out and touch some one in the 31st century, from way the hell back over there.

Guillotine. Hands down, the most survivable mech in the game. A little undergunned for its weight, but it moves like a medium and refuses to die.

update: chose Grasshopper. It's almost the same mech.

I picked "Everything sucked before Gauss Rifles", but I'd put down a vote for the Guillotine, since it fixes everything that was wrong with the Grasshopper. Silly LRM-5.

I disagree with the fact that it moves like a Medium 'Mech--if I wanted a 'Mech like that I would take an Ostroc.

Clearly Marauder. The classic design alone is awesome and his firepower is rightfully feared. Warhammer would get the second place for a very classic good design and PPC power

I chose the Crusader because I liked the mech before it became unseen. It's a good general purpose design, with options to include jump jets. Later versions that lost their hand actuators made them about as useful as Catapults and Orions.

The Catapult is a classic! It gets my vote! Anyone remember training in MW2 Mercs with Deadeye? That sold Mechwarrior for me :)

MAD-3D my friend. A fine choice if I say so my self.

Hard choice. I love most of the classic heavies, especially the Rifleman, Warhammer, and Catapult, but my vote has to go to the Orion. It's basically a baby AS7-D.
