Don't so inpatient people, they will reveal everything when the time will be right. But assuming they said its gonna use DirectX 9,10 and 11 i hope system req. will be something like this:

Minimum:

Dual Core 2.2 GHz
2 Gb Ram
ATi 3850/8800GT

Recommended:
Quad Core 2.4 GHz
2 Gb Ram
ATI 4870/9800 GTX

But lets just wait and see what future holds for us :)

Depends on what engine they ended up using. We are still not sure if it is UDK or if they switched to CryEngine 3 like many (including me) speculate due to various Twitter feed mid Oct.

MWO probably wont be released for 9-10 months. I dont think they know yet. Same with controllers. They will probably try to include the most popular ones at first and then maybe add more later.

Yeah I was trying to get more of a timeline than any specific information, Although I would not turn my nose up at any info.:) as long as its actual information and not speculation.

I have noticed that most specs don't get announced until much nearer to launch. Being that it is going to be launched in the summer, I would expect system requirements to be up sometime in mid to late spring.

I have to say I am little bit on the fence about what all controls this game is going to be compatible with. On one hand i would really like to have a full set of controls at my finger tips like say Via the Saitek flight packages, On the other hand the price of some of those controls frightens me a little. if this game is anywhere near as good as I hoping it will be. I would be very tempted to build myself a cockpit of sorts just to play. As it is I am already looking at using a old car bucket seat I have in my shop to build myself a version of the Playseat I found online that they are selling for a whopping 500 bucks.... easy enough to build for less than 100.00 in material.:)

I guess to sum this up I have very high hopes for the "simulator" Aspect of this game and I am sure anyone else that went out and bought the Steel Battalion game for that very reason Are onboard with me. And then some.:D

It's F2P, so the minimum requirements will be modest to entice as many players to try it as possible.

While this makes sense, I also wonder how they're going to pull this off while still giving us good graphics. This is going to get my attention as the release date get's closer.

It's too far away for system specs to be announced. Based on how other games have typically done it.. we probably won't have system specs till about 3-4 months before launch.

There has to be significant graphical trade-offs to accommodate modest machines. Or maybe Cryengine 3 (speculated above) scales down very well, I don't know.

Just saying don't expect a BF3, as Piranha doesn't have the financial means of EA/DICE behind them.

We have only just been graced with the basic features of the game and some nice concept art. It's going to be a long time before we get any hint of system requirements.

Oh, I've no illusions there. I just hope that the focus on urban combat is a clue that they're going to try to keep the environment fully destroyable. I really, really, really want to bring a building down on someone.

I feel graphics should take a back seat to playability. Eye candy is nice but not at the expense of a poor experience playing the game, that is a sure way to turn some folks away.
