... is really slowing down these days. There are threads on page 1 that haven't seen any replies since yesterday. I don't remember that ever being the case.

I don't know how the game is doing, but there sure is a lot less discussion these days. Every thread has the same 6 people, and by reading the name of the thread, you already know what they think about the topic.

This used to be the most popular forum. I had to make alternate accounts just to keep bumping my own threads (and like my own posts :( ). These days, you barely have to log on once a day to keep up on current events.

At the risk of being dramatic...

Everyone is either leaving because of the 3PV debacle, or too busy expressing their rage over it in the Update and Apology Feedback thread.

Why bother? It is the same 10 topics day after day.

PPCs Nerf
Spider Nerf
MM Sucks
Heat Thingy
LRMs OP
LRMs UP
Gauss Desync (new)
Convergence
Hardpoint Limitations
CB Nerf

maybe a few more but you get the idea

Why bother posting on a forum the devs seldom read, let alone provide insight to our feedback on.

Garth popping in once in a while to say "Hey, whats up gaiz!?" is nice and all, but not enough to satiate the posters of this forum who actually give a **** about the game (the ones who criticize it).

Like, if PGI thinks our ideas are bad, they should give us a coherent explanation of "Why" every once in a blue moon.

They do a bad job of it as noted in Paul's response from the recent AtD (especially with respect to that very topic).

I would prefer more stories about the 6MG Spider and 3 second Jenner. At least storytime would be a lot more interesting...

It's kinda like Battletech fairy tale story hour.

"Once Upon a Time, there was a lovely princess, but she had a 6 MG Spider on her..."
"Three, my Lord, Three"...

Some folks have finally grasped that there is no point in posting on these forums as PGI does whatever it was going to do despite any suggestions, feedback or complaints to the contrary. People interested in helping the game out, you beta testing in a beta have been driven off to make way for the influx of new players who don't care and hopefully just pony up cash the way PGI wants it.
Be silent and buy MC. PGI knows best.
I guess their long term plan to kill the forums has worked, hopefully the newer players will be more compliant and gullible. You'd think they'd at least thank us for the money we helped bankroll them with before they tossed us out. :(

Between the fact that they never seem to read or use any of the ideas presented (how long have we been asking for a TAG toggle?) and the way they reorganized the forums, it's hard to get motivated anymore.

They did the shuffle supposedly to make feedback more organized, but since it's apparent that feedback doesn't really matter, it's more and more like they shafted us out of General Discussion for no reason.

Three weeks until launch, and not a major feature in sight. It's getting bleaker every day.

But hey, we'll probably get a shiny new Orion hero!

There are a lot of negative, argumentative, and downright rude debates on these forums.

There are also excellent suggestions, insightful posts, reasoned debates, and posts with solid math and charts.

But neither of them make any difference. We still have Ghost Heat, 3PV, C-Bill nerf, and a Gauss nerf incoming.

They aren't listening. Why keep talking?

Because this forum is basically a support group over the internet. Forumwarriors gather here to weep on each other's shoulders, discussing their dream fixes for this game's problems because talking about it makes it feel better than just holding it in and helplessly watching history unfold.

Pretty much any debate to be had here other than the gauss desync is almost worthy of a slowbro meme. That in itself is pretty depressing
