Does anybody still play netmech? I found here http://www.mech2.org...c.php?f=7&t=512 that you can still download NetmechDOS and it seems to work. It runs in windows (the one I used), Mac OS X, and Linux.

Is it just MechWarrior 2 netplay? Because that sounds pretty good.

I think that's what it is. I think it needs more than one person to start a game (as "launch" was greyed out when I tried to host a game), and I've been too lazy to install it on more than one computer to try it.

My apologies, I don't think the server is still running. I tried it with two computers and the "launch" button is still greyed out. I wish I knew how to setup a server. Sorry guys.

A few of the old Mplayer MW2 guys hang out there and play once in a while. MMPD, Cyril, Pepsi Wolf, Pinch-a-loaf a couple others. MMPD has youtube videos of games, heres one uploaded a week ago..

This is a bit of a thread resurrection but I wanted to let everyone know that Netmech does in fact work. I just played my first game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just wanted to let everyone know, and you do need to go into the IRC to find people to play with
