I can't tell what will happen but i can explain to you what happened in closed beta to my 6ERPPC awesome with SHS aka Facemelter.

In any non snow map the 1st Alpha put me straight into overheat, with the whole shutdown lasting a mere second rdy for the 2nd Alpha.

Then you fire your second Alpha....
you get straight into overheat again, and due the massive Heat generated and the slowest dissipation the higher your heat goes, you had 2 options.

Option a: Stay shutdown for something like a whole min (once i went 5 min on caustic center crater)
Option b: hit Override button (back when it worked after shutdown) and see how your mech starts tot ake internal dmg, and the lottery start (will it take my LT or my RL or the CT or Cockpit and i die!!) until you die in the 5-10 following seconds.

With the current state of Ghostheat.. would be amusing just try a 6 PPC stalker and double the time it takes you to die

Watched two 6 PPC stalkers own a entire match last night, I could swear neither of them over heated yet the alphas came.

Before Ghost heat 6x PPC put you in 65%
Post Ghost Heat 4x PPc put you in overheat with a single Alpha...


You sure they was Alphaing and not staggering fire wich is a viable option and the reason Ghost heat introduction?

It's a fire and forget build. Fire once, and forget about doing anything else for the rest of the match.
