Troll or not, I think the op's question is legit enough. Also, the contact support is a more than good enough answer. Personally, I would recommend sticking around to see if they implement a 1pv hardcore queue or not before giving up on MWO. It might be another 10 years before you get another chance at a mechwarrior type game. Peace out!

Yes, the question is legit. If the OP were not a troll, he would have seen the people saying "contact support, here's the email address" (first answer to his question, btw, and posted 10 minutes after his original post) and he would have done just that and we'd have heard nothing else from him. Instead, he ignores the first reply to his thread, which was not only helpful, but very polite, and he latched onto the next couple of replies (one of which was a simple and polite "if you don't like 3PV, turn it off" answer) and says, and I quote:

Emphasis mine, of course. He got an answer. A couple of them, in fact, since the post right before his (5 minutes before, in fact), was the first "You could just uninstall and not play" answer.

All of that, to me, indicates that the OP is a troll, and I believe trolls should be trolled right back.

TL;DR version: OP's question is legit, but OP is still a troll. Troll the troll!

Maybe this is the wrong place on the forums, I don't know, but as the title says; how do I terminate my account? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

The 3PV is it for me. I'm out. Just hope there will be another MechWarrior game around soon.

Delete your system 32 folder, it's the only way to be sure you can't play anymore.

Clearly a troll but no more so than the Dev troll who calls blatant lies an "error in communication".

reminds me of our former system32-russian-roulette at LAN-Partys with my friends... one after another had to delete a file from //windows/system32, first one going offline lost... loved it =)

Actually for another Mechwarrior game, isn't there Mechwarrior Tactics?

NO. Not even close. MW Tactics isn't first person, and isn't in realtime.

...Which is really lame, in my opinion.

I played a few games of tabletop BattleTech in 1993 or so, and I remember how long it took to resolve one turn, and I remember that even experienced players would need to open a book every turn.
I remember thinking "This could be exciting if someone would program it into a computer and make it go faster. Better still, if you could play in realtime."
A couple of years later MechWarrior 2 came out (1st person view), which was a damn fun simulator.
Then, there was MechCommander (3rd person view) which I thought was even more like tabletop BTech, because you can command several mechs at once. They each had their (separate) places.

MechWarrior Tactics goes back to taking turns. In the video I saw, it took so long to resolve each turn that nobody fired a shot until 21 minutes into the video. So, they took tabletop BTech, translated it into a computer game, and removed all the advantages of having it run on a computer.

Isn't the game profile linked to the forum-acc? i mean, when you create an account, the forum account is created automaticaly? don't remember exactly, but i think so.... if that's the case... don't feed the troll =)

I didn't use the forums for a month after I started. However my "member since" states the day I started playing the game. Thus, yes, I'd have to say they are linked.
