Don't be a chicken little :(

Marketing wise... brilliant:

Phase 1: Phoenix package(taste of classics) > Phase 2: Reinforcements (getting warmer) > Phase 3: Marauder and Rifleman

Bam! 80 + 30 + 30 = $$$

Lets see how the refunds hold out on that deal :)

Only downside - waiting until 2014 to get all the mechs :(

still refunded and not buying their ********

My wallet is closed until game improves and 3PV is gone.

Did nobody notice how bad the Kintaro sucks? And your giving them cash on a promise 4 months from now?

"A fool and his money are soon parted."

Besides if there any good you can just get the cbill versions for free.

They seem cool, and I totally understand upselling. The Wolverine amuses me a little bit because it looks like it's wearing an ushanka--one of those big fur hats you see the stereotypical Russian wearing.

I went up to get the Shadow Hawk... and if those scale are correct I think I made the right choice.

That being said, I'd MUCH rather have either of those two than the shadow hawk based on both hard points and jump jets.

Has anyone gotten a refund? I'd thinking I might be willing to pitch 10$ more if I could get a rebate on the Shadow Hawk.

Ditch the C Bill nerf and I will buy the lot.

Until then, no dice.

Since you are piloting an Atlas I am guessing your worried the wolverine will run up one side of you and down the other. Smart :)

They look good as usual from the perspective of the design, but right in the picture they're even bigger than the Shadow Hawk that's another 55 tonner or as big as the Thunderbolt, that looks to be as big as an Awesome.

As the rest of the Overlord packages, thanks but no thanks.

I went ELITE back in Founder's time to PICK one mech of my choice. This time you either force people to spend 80, or x+30 without being able to pick the desired mechs.

Why don't change packages with mid-tiers that allow you to pick what you want?

30$ -> pick 1 mech to be chosen among the locust, ort the Shadow hawk or the Thunderbolt
50$ -> pick 2 mechs freely among the four original phoenix ones (saber reinforcement is exclusive to that pack), get 1 faction medallion
70$ -> pick 3 mechs freely (saber stays an exclusive pack), get 2 faction medallions, 30 days PT.

It would be SO easy..

Have to agree.

I am a heavy mech fan. Being able to get the Thunderbolt with them would sure tempt me to get me the Tier 1 or Tier 2 package. But shelling out 60$ to get the heavy I want and 6 other mechs I know I won't play much if at all is just too much. In this case I just save up CBills wait to see if the mechs are any good at all and then get them for free.

Every time I hear someone say "I'm voting with my wallet" and "that is it I am leaving" they come out with something new that looks pretty awesome and I can't help but be reminded of....

not I or or any of my guys. PGI has lost the phoenix pre-orders and any future money.
I dont care if they give away free Marauders i'm not buying into another money grab to cover up the lies

First deliver me the Overlord package I already bought, then we can talk about future purchases, thanks.

Frankly I am getting worried about where your income is going to come from after October. You are pulling forward so much revenue for product that you will deliver in the 4th quarter, that it makes me anxious you are going to crash your cashflow and be unable to pay the bills in Q4.

I dont even run mediums at all
But...they are new, and shiny, and cool, and i want them! :X

Any chances of gettin the Warhammer at some point in the future?

They look great but 30 $ without any other benefits like more medallions, premium time and maybe something special to add if you already have pledged for package doesn't make it appear worth to me.. especially since the "unique features" of these "buy them now or never again" mechs in the phoenix pack appeared to be not worth to be even mentioned. In the case of the Shadow Hawk those roof racks even made the appearance worse.

Sorry guys. Those are great looking mechs and i salute your design team.. but going for the c-bills versions of them simply appears more worthwile to me.

Splendid to see the Wolverine and Griffin coming into the game.

I'm sure the image on the Phoenix page is merely the concept art photoshopped together, but may I point out that for the actual mechs, the Griffin, Shadow Hawk, and Wolverine should all be about the same size.

The pic as posted makes me concerned about the Griffin being significantly larger than the SHD, and the Wolverine being almost as bulky as the TDR. Let's not have them scale creep. All three should be about the relative size of the Shadow Hawk in the Project Phoenix splash art.

Please, please, make sure these are scaled correctly with the other mediums.

Thank you.

Oh look! PGI's Generic Weapon Slot System is coming back to bite them. Called this one back in closed beta....

Ain't that the truth. A good example is the Griffen which was popular because it was one of the few mediums/lights that could carry a PPC and was therefore a mobile long range threat. But under the game mechanics of PGI, any light or med with an energy hard point can carry a PPC. Hell, we already see it with the jenners, spiders, trebuchets, and centurions.

"Hater": "Guys please don't reward PGI until they have provided the content and balancing they have promised"

Response: "No, despite all of the terrible community issues and and lack of promised content. I'm going to double down on a developer that is quickly making SWG / ToR levels of mistakes"

You forgot to mention the upgraded paint schemes available with the Saber Reinforcement package. Can a mod please add this to the OP?

has no one paid attention that the griffin and wolverine (for saber at least) arn't coming out witht he rest of the phoenix mechs? the saber mechs are coming out in december. totally fine with that. Just not enough for me to spend another $30 (mostly it's the hardpoint location) though the 7K wolverine seems to be a heavier jump cabable hunchback SP. 2 SRM 6s, 1 LPL, MPL (i think not sure if it's pulse or not) and SPL.
