In the match I just had I made 2 hits on a jenner and 1 on a raven with my AC/20 to no effect.
Can it be that the AC/20 is a bit buggy?
(map was the winter city with the snow storm [day])

Host State Rewind is currently busted, which causes shots that would have connected to frequently disappear. There is supposedly a fix in the pipeline.

Aww... I thought you had found a way to slap legs on an AC/20 and drive it around.

Oh wait, locust isn't in game yet.

Not just the AC 20.. hits in general are messed up. Lasers, Missiles and Ballistics. Sometimes you can see the effect of the weapon hitting, but there's no damage to the enemy mech and your reticule doesn't turn red. Also, sometimes, you can hear weapons hitting you and your cockpit shaking (or even a red thing indicating where the damage is coming from), but there's no damage to your mech.

Gauss, PPCs (both flavors), ACs of all caliber, missiles... All affected by a very broken HSR and bad hitbox issue on some mechs.

Given this game is based solely on shooting other players, you'd think getting it resolved would be top priority....

I think that last bit is to do with HSR. basically if someone shoots at you and miss due to leading too far ahead for example, but they also have a sizeable ping (say 300ms) it might display as a hit on your screen, but because "they" missed, it counts as a miss so no damage.

either that or paper doll bug and you did take damage, but your mech wasnt updated and it'll auto correct when you next get shot there (and explain why that med laser knocked out all your armor/structure).

they may not have been hits.

you need to lead your target perfectly, and you need to insure the lead of the shot connects with the moving hitbox.

hitboxes vary. lead varies by speed.

on occasion you may experience a non-hit (due to hsr calculations still being improved) even when your reticule turns red - but if your reticule didnt turn red you probably just missed the mechs hitbox.
