I’m new MWO player and I have been playing for few days now. I have had some issues with lag, disconnects freezes but nothing major – until today. I lost the ability to control my jumping.
What happens is: my mech will automatically start jumping and I cannot stop it, after that I usually lose the ability to use them (depleted) at all or at random point it will jump again. This makes playing irritating or impossible.
Restarting game won’t help. What might cause this and how to get those working again?
I have Cataphract CTF 3D.

This is seriously so messed up. My game suddenly became almost unplayable.Nope the mech jumps even if I don't touch my keyboard or push totally different button.

Do you have a joystick or other controller connected? If so try disconnecting it and see if that solves the problem.
Other than that; you can try unbinding and rebinding the jump jet key in options
Or, if you have a modded user config you could try deleting that

I don't have any other controller connected. I just finished a game where I got stuck on moving and couldn't stop at all. My keyboard works perfectly in other games and destop use.

Run the MWO Repair Tool.
Make sure to check "Clean profile" and "Delete systemoverride.cfg" in options before clicking "RUN!".
Double check if you have any other controllers, joysticks, pedals plugged in. Unplug any of those if you do.

Another possibility, wireless mouse and or keyboard, controller. I have had my JJ'S get stuck on burn, all reaction mass/fuel expend, and because the game still thinks the jump button has been pressed, the JJs never recharge.
This often happens when stuck ontextures too. Becase the mech hasnt 'landed', the fuel isnt recharging, but the mech will never land cause its frozen on the edge of a high wall, building or hillside.
While nothing can be done that I know of for sticking on textures, the jump jets freezing on was remedied by putting fresh batteries in my wireless mouse/keyboard and making sure the reciever was nearby and unblocked.
