I doubt that. The amount of money is not that big, and the case is hardly solid, since we're in a completely vague territory of betas and digital goods.

Personally I don't think any legal action is required or appropriate. It's sufficient to get Phoenix refunds / not buy it, and make it clear that this isn't the game you came for (if it isn't the game you came for) nor care for, and until that changes, you will not support the game any further.

And if enough people agree ,well, PGI will have to change. And if not, good for them, keep on trucking, the rest of us will wait 10 years for the next mechwarrior game. Or any "Western Mecha" game.

Unfortunately, MWO is like having loved, then having been castrated with a twelve gauge after repeated blows to the head.

Now PGI will think the community will be happy if mechs could have hats for 2000mc ea - *sigh* why are you all so bitter? While Bullock hides on Twitter the rage boils....

Most people and organizations that are made up of people know what integrity is even if they cannot quite define it. Some or those just do not care about maintaining integrity... possibly because there is no law about it, maybe because they do not care about it, or they just want to say what they think others want to hear... who really knows, but for the owner of the words spoken/written.

I await the Command Chair posts that will discuss the New Player Experience as described in the interview.

Oh wait, we have none of those? I guess everything is working as intended™.

Do you suppose that this November, we will be told the same tale about expecting Community Warfare in January-February?

propably.

Also, it was just their position at the time that CW launches Q1 2013, but they wanted to express that it´s rather Q1 2014. It´s an neglectable mistage, 3 and 4 are next to each other on the keyboard.

Jeez. if my company would work like this, it would have been broke decades ago.

Is there anyone who paid with iDeal and was able to get a refund? I get this reply from the support :
Unfortunately we are unable to refund your transactions as the payment method you have used does not support reversals of any kind. (iDeal) - I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I asked them to transfer the money to either my bank/paypal account. I hope i can still get my money. This is a sinking ship.

It was always over promise and under deliver or ego wouldn't allow them to admit publicly how swamped and unprepared they were. I was under the impression PGI was about 6-9 months delayed but after the recent NGNG #88, it's now more like 18-24 months. Don't worry though, free to play games never really die. Even in its worst case MechWarrior: Online will go into zombie hibernation mode.

We'll go play other games and after a break, however long, we'll come back to MechWarrior: Online and want to see how it's going. All our progress, time, and money that was invested would have been for naught and we'll got mocked for having left in the first place. It's one of the predatory aspects of free to play games.

It's a living product, launch is meaningless and there are no deadlines.

Honestly, it's just a matter of time before we find out that this was all a ruse, and MWO is being ported to Xbox Live Arcade.

I suspect MW:O as we thought it would exist was lost somewhere in the realm of attraction to *large single digits followed by* sequential, horizontal zeroes.

Can.. Can we force PGI to watch this video? No I mean seriously..
