The "I can't help myself" given per 1,000 drops you have completed
Then there is the "Should have known better" badge?
For veterans of 10,000+ drops
Or the "Hoarder" badge for never selling any of your mechs?
Then there is the "Golden Hoarder" badge for owning all the mechs ever released?
Don't forget the mastery badge, given for each each Mech mastered.
And the Grand Master Badge for mastering all the released Mechs

This is amazing!
There should be an add on bar for the LRM medal if you were cockpitted by verticle LOS LRM's during the day and a half uber LRMpocalypse that existed in early open beta.

Also there should be an award for being R&R griefed, which consisted of the enemy team methodically stripping every non-essential component of your mech before putting you out of your misery to maximize your R&R. I can remember this happening a couple times.

Oh, and the perma overheat screen bug.

And back when everyone played in thermal 90% of the time.

And for heavy mechs piggybacking much faster light mechs. I remember seeing gaussapults riding around on the backs of ravens and jenners- both shooting at you.

Above all else these medals remind me that despite all of the delays the game has gotten better.

I'd be carrying a majority of these since I've been around since October last year. Fractal bug was madness.

Working out which ones ive earned:

Operation S.Q.U.A.W.K

Operation LRMpocalypse-remeber this all to well

Operation cant see **** captain-the month i started i would drop in the trial Cent and try to work out where i was by the landscape. No f***ing sensors=no coordination

Purple Centre torso-there is a reason every Mech i build maxes out on AMS.

Distinguished Flying Poptart-i used my K2s PPCs to great effect in those times

Order of the Splatcat-one of the many reasons my favourite mech is a sniper.

Order of the Jagerbomb-i was jumped by one at the tunnel entrance on Forest Colony.

Order of the Dakka Spider-to this day my worst fear is still a 1 MLaser, 2 MG SPDR 5K

Order of the Trollmando

Order of the White Knights-to be fair it was Beta

Cataclysmic Earthquake Campaign-I was in a trial Atlas and a quad AC2 Jaeger ambushed me.

Fragile Skull Memorial Star-My first and most favourite Mech was, and still is, my K2

Operation Working as Intended-for most of my early days.

Operation Feedback with Static-I called against the PPC nerfs SO any times.

Im al for the PPC boat medal. How about a Terra Therma medal, from when that was ALL you dropped in to. Call it "Heat struck"

LOL nice. I can take ALL those medals except for three: The lag one, the one involving the White Knight syndrome, and the "Working as Intended" medal. Actually, I'll take the working as intended medal, then hand it right back at you since I lost faith in August.

Dragon bowling was fun too...

What about when the Commando first came out and there were no engine caps? you stuck like a xl350 or something stupid and the thing went 250, so fast that the thing caused ripples in the space-time continuum, im not kidding, it was invincible and it teleported..ah the good old days of running into a Atlas at 250 and because there were collisions you could send it flying :)

My Distinguished Flying Poptart Medal was first gained against PGI's own Thomas Dzigliewskiskiski (correct spelling, trufax!). I was in my VTR-DS and so was he. His was the 1gauss 2PPC build, Mine was a proper 1LL, 2MPL, 2SRM4, 1gauss. Finished him while he was mid air with a slug through his center torso. Teach him to run a ****** meta-build and ruin the damn mech.
Fond memories...

I'm over 11k myself so both of these for me. Although in terms of dropping mechs, the possible badge name "I smell a cr***er drop" could be used for something, I'm sure.

EDIT Well, not if it doesn't pass the censor, it can't. LOL

Oh Oooohh!,You've gone and done it now. I am going to have to go out and buy more wood and glass for my trophy case. I unfortunately qualify for most of those medals ;) :) A true sign of either insanity or a very large masochism streak.

Cheers

Another one that, I think, would be nice:

"Medal of Vet's Hammer Survival"
Anyone who started playing without C-Bills and MC and were able to purchase 5 'Mechs with C-Bills that acquired from the hard work of each match. (Prior to the "Pilot Cadet" bonus)

"Medal of Cadet's Survival"
Anyone who started playing without C-Bills and MC and were able to purchase 5 'Mechs with C-Bills that acquired from playing, with PGI's help. (Nowadays)

EDIT: It had a little ambiguity and a flaw, corrected both.
