It's a real pity as we used to have a rough idea of what was coming in closed beta, anyone remember the picture of the whiteboard with info on the raven?

Anything would be nice i would even be happy with loose dates (hope to have in by november etc) with info on other idea's feature's being looked at/worked on, atm we are getting some info on ui2.0 that hasn't been added to for weeks so wether it's going to make launch is anyone's guess and speculation on other feature being dragged from external sources.

DX11 should yield higher performance across all machines with a DX11 capable gpu. IIRC that is the ati 5000 series or later, and the Nvidia GTX 400 and later. It allows the gpu to take on a bigger share of the rendering. For example, when I look at my cpu utilization, it bounces all over the place between 20 and 100% utilization across all 4 cores. My gpu never cracks 50%.

In my opinion DX 11 is a much more important piece of the puzzle than a UI refresh. I agree this needs to be done, but it would instill more confidence in me to see them release a patch working to optimize the game rather than eye candy hero mechs or a new UI. I might even consider buying one of those hero mechs to reward them.
