With all the plethora of new mechs PGI is shooting out, there's one mech we don't have, and would please me to no end to see:

Either another 100 tonner, and / or another assault mech that does not look humanoid....something besides the Stalker, currently our only option....I mastered him already and would LOVE another non-human type, as heavy as possible.

Thanks if it happens!

100-tonners are pretty rare at this point in the timeline. For a long time the only one available was the Atlas. The King Crab, which a vocal handful have asked for repeatedly, would fit the bill for size and body styling. The model 000, 010, and 0000 would even be able to fulfill the 3 variants needed.

The last thing we need is a dual AC20 Assault mech, dual AC20 Jagers is bad enough as it is, but at least they are relatively easy to cripple by shooting off their arms.

I'd happily settle for ANY 80+ ton mech as long as it isn't a humanoid at this point!

And Todd, I won't be angry if it has little or no ballistic hard points.

The KingCrab would be slow.

A King Crab with Maxed out armor and a 360 XL engine would be able to fit 2 AC20s, 6 tons of ammo, and 13.5 tons of additional heatsinks and support weapons. And would top out at 64.2 kph with Speed Tweak. A good 10 kph slower than the feared AC40 Jager. Lights and fast mediums would tear it apart.

Yes, it seems everyone just thinks of how OP it can be but never the drawbacks. Anything with 2 Heavy basllistics is going to be slow, therefore balanced.

The Banshee is just straight up evil. The base 3025 model sucks, but the Steiner refits? Yeah, you guys play with him, I'll be over here hiding.

Banshee is overpowered. It has sunglasses that deflect lasers, rendering it invulnerable to laser weaponry.

Yeah except:
1) why would you put an XL on an assault brawler?
2) it can mount way more weapons than just two AC/20s
3) lights and mediums wont have a chance against it if its built properly

1) So that it can actually, I don't know, get into range?
2) If you stay with the stock loadout you have a 300 engine, only 4 tons of AC ammo, LRM15 (2 tons ammo), a Large Laser, 5 extra heat sinks, and less than full armor. That is most definitely NOT "way more", and you are also slow as all hell.
3) You either think way too much of most assault pilots or have never seen a decent medium or light pilot. I've seen light jocks with damage totals well over 600 before, and their preferred targets are slow assault mechs. Hell, when I drop in one of my HGNs I'm a hell of a lot more afraid of a Jenner than a Stalker. Because I know I have a fighting chance against a good Stalker pilot, and almost no chance against a good Jenner pilot.

Getting into range doesnt do a whole lot of good if you die twice as fast because you have an XL engine.

1) why would you stay with the stock loadout when stock mechs suck?
2) you realize its going to have more than 4 hardpoints? At least 8 being an assault mech...

I have won #1 assault pilot in multiple tournaments. And yes Ive seen decent medium and light pilots... and believe me they are not invincible.

And having twin AC20s doesn't do a whole lot of good if you rarely get into range to use them.

1) Used as an example to show you just how much tonnage you have to work with.
2) Ok, I'll grant that it will likely have more hardpoints. But that doesn't magically conjure forth more tonnage, and the tonnage limitation was my argument.

You want to play games with this? Ok, Max armor, endo steel, 325 STD engine, 2 AC20, 6 tons ammo. You have 11.5 tons left for additional weapons and heat sinks. anywhere from 4 to 6 additional hardpoints split somehow between missiles and energy. Your top speed with Speed Tweak is 57.9 kph. You do not currently have adequate heat sinkage. Tell me again how broken this would be?

It might be dangerous if they put 2 ballistic hardpoints in each arm, as it would be able to mount quad UAC5 without need of an XL. But twin AC20s on something like that won't scare me.

Marauder 2. Granted it would probably be used to abuse the Sniper meta. Considering it comes with 2 ERPPCs and an AC/10. The Ballistic weapon is a turret on top of the body.

Based on a Macross design, so the odds of it coming in are very questionable. The 3025-era Marauder II is disgustingly nasty in table top. 2 PPCs, 2 MLs, and a LL with enough heat sinks to use the big guns effectively, and jump jets. Yeah, jumping assault flashbulbs are nasty.

The Marauder II is a Macross-based Unseen, and the Behemoth is Unseen because the original artwork was created by a Japanese company called Victor Musical Industries (now known as Victor Entertainment).

Yes I know that and the updated artwork looks fine to me. To your No Marauder or marauder II, all I have to say is what I have said for the last year. NOT ONE RED PENNY TILL I GET A MARAUDER/MARAUDER II. Once again the new artwork is fine, I will be happy with it.
