Thundrbolt should be 70 tons, isn't it ? Why only 65 tons?

I am curious - why would (should?) it be 70?

I never had access to tabletop - but even in the one novel I read that mentioned the Tbolt, it was a 65 tonner...

Of course I do have one novel that puts the locust as a 30... and another that claims the Atlas was an 85 tonner, but I'm pretty sure those are typos - so don't quote me if I claim those at those weights :)

No. Sigh. WTF BTech year do people think we are in?!?! The 70 Ton Thunderbolt which is a Clan IIC model, won't be available until 3085.

It's 3050. So, in 35 years you can have your 70 ton Clan mech with all the advanced tech that everyone thinks should be in the game and complains about it not being in MWO.

We can only hope this game is around in three years or five, much less 35.

The Thunderbolt was the forerunner to the Thor in the cannon I believe.
