I just tried my first game after patch and have noticed a big drop in my FPS. I would normally run around 50 but now I'm down to 25. Anyone else seeing this?

Yep. I've reduced my resolution several notches and still seeing a big drop. Tutorial ran fine, but my raven 3L is basically unplayable in Frozen City.

yep, from 50 to 25 here as well
edit: well apparently it from my custom user.cfg file, as soon as I switched to normal setting I gut 60 fps, on high my fps varied from 60 to 30, that more then I had with my old low end user.cfg

In case you haven't done so yet, I would suggest you run the repair tool first and if that does not correct the issue try a full resintall of the game.
While that may not correct the issue you are currently seeing, I know both myself and a number of others throughout various patches have seen both FPS and crash issues corrected when taking one of the two actions.
Hope this helps!

Repair tool should be here
http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/
Also, if that doesn't help, try submitting a support ticket with a DXDiag attached.
Good luck with resolution and welcome aboard nrg9x.

Yes. Same here. Prior patch I was using custom user.cfg with higher graphics than in game settings. Would drop into mid 30 FPS in large battles. Now user.cfg not working...poorer graphics with FPS dropping into 15-20s
It's totally unplayable below 30 IMO. Not to mention the static back! Not a fan of the film grain.
If anybody knows how to get the game to recognize the user.cfg or improve FPS I would be most grateful.

Follow-up on FPS.
Backed up custom stuff. Ran mwo repair tool. It deleted sweetfx (which was active but not in use due to returning static, static need not be sharpened) as well as the grain_bayer_mul.dds film grain fix. Also did it's default reset shaders.
It has seemed to improve the FPS some. Now dipping in 30s mostly. Still seems however that it's dropping much more frequent than it did prior patch. Just hard twisting a direction causes dips into 30s...usually it just went into the mid to low 40s depending on map.
I would love to not be rendering the static. No idea if it's part of the FPS dipping. Or inactive user.cfg.
