Who cares, the game isn't even done, beta testing isn't a thing so that you can play and have fun, it's there to fine tune the game. So testers can report problems and bugs. Enjoy beta testing sure, but enjoyment isn't the prime function of a test. Which is obviously why you're wanting to play the game. Just wait till it's done and chill out.

On those that don't think the "Pending" is cool...did you see the forums just before they added that? It was a huge insane mass of "how will I know" And "please tell us if we didn't get in" crying baby rage." The pending notice is a very very good thing for the sanity of the forums.

I personally thought the status huge can't miss it billboard was a genius solution to the chaos that was going on. It made me laugh. The OP does more though...serious? Just can't believe it could be.

From what he's told me himself, and he seems like a pretty decent, non-lying guy, it's just sounds he can make. He has an incredible vocal range.
