How many of you dished out $30 plus dollars to acquire this mech based on knowing how the Gauss rifle worked.

My main load outs were 3 llas + Gauss / 3 mplas + 2 srm 6 + Gauss.

I personally feel deflated that this mechs main weapon is NERFED!

HGN ac20 VS HGN Gauss ....who wins in close range and what does more damage.

This needs to be fixed I feel like an MC refund please only Heavy Metal / Dragon Slayer / Misery pilots need answer.



It is also the dragon slayer and Misery that were sold with Gauss more MC NERFED!

Meanwhile in a boardroom somewhere in Canada ...

The guass being used in long range combat got a buff.
Along with advanced zoom which works now is a devastating thing with some practice.

Stupid poll is stupid. The Gauss has been gimped for everyone, not just HM pilots. I tore the Gauss off my CN9-A because I was using that mech as a sniper, now, sniping isn't worth it anymore, by the time the weapon is charged the target has thrown my shot off and I have to readjust, and then I've lost charge or he's behind cover. WTF is the point of even having the weapon? I don't even want to pull out my HGN-733 (Gauss, 2 LLs, 4 Streaks) because I don't want to deal with the disappointment of what the Gauss change has done to my beloved Beast.

This is about hard earned $$ that was spent on these hero mechs and the Gauss being the primary weapon. I don't want to use it either. I understand the Gauss is gimped for everyone. Just looking for hero mech buyers feedback.

Anyone that buys a Hero for the stock loadout is an *****. You're pretty much expected to customize them. The primary weapon on any Hero can be swapped with any weapon of the same type. It just so happens that the HM came stock with what was then the biggest (and arguably best) ballistic in the game.

In short, no, I don't think you deserve a refund, nor do any of the other HM pilots. However, if you are that peeved you could always send an email to PGI and ask for one.

EDIT: And, no, the HM's "main ballistic" is not ruined, as the hard point is still there. YOu can mount an AC10 or something. The HM does not "own" the Gauss. Is the Gauss screwed up? Yeah, I think it is. But this is not a HM issue.

I asked hero mech owners for their opinion! What part of the topic you not understand.
