I had been away from the game for about a year, and when I logged back in tonight I noticed this game looks like something from 15 years ago.

This definitely isn't close to how it was when I logged off last September. Is there a fix to get this working again? The last threads I could find on this issue were back in April, so I assume there is a fix yet?

I'm not tracking you: You think there's an AA problem because something looks …?

As far as I know, AA is working exactly as intended. If you want a stronger AA effect, I think there's a way to enable an edge-detect filter, but don't ask. As it is, it looks fine, imo, so I don't see why there's some huge push for more AA.

Also, 15 years? If you're MWO game looks like this

Then you seriously need to consult PGI, because your game setting problems are worse than we can help you with :D

It looks pretty much like the pic above and I have all the graphics options maxed.

Directx is greyed out and 3d vision mode is greyed out. All the edges are VERY jagged and the mountains look like blue blocks when I am at a distance.

That's clearly a bug and not a failure of anti-aliasing. I've actually seen the same thing happen once during the movement tutorial which suggests it crept in at the last patch.

Presumably you will have already tried to solve this by logging a ticket (under "support"), and tried the repair tool?

That always happens on that map in the training grounds. It's a Known Bug™, and some day, when they run out of bigger fish to fry, they'll look into it …

The rest of the game looking bad? I've spent a year outsmarting myself with nVidia Inspector on the AA front: Just turn it on in-game, and don't %$# with the driver overrides …

I fixed it. I just reinstalled my nvidia control panel and removed/reinstalled my video drivers. I assume between last year when I played the game and today something glitched with my drivers. They were up to date but the reinstall fixed it.

Well I can say that you are not the only one. All my Mech in Mechbay and all Mech in game textures have switched to some sort of blurry resoution. I've reinstalled my game, reinstalled my video driver but the problem hasn't been resolved yet. This happened after the last crack...erm update. I'm runing game on max details with ATI 5850 graphic card.

Any help on resolving this is appreciated.

Here's a sample of my X-5 Cicada textures:

Have you tried just turning textures down and then back up?

I've done just about everything I could except reinstalling my OS, which I'm not going to do. I'm rather gonna tell them to give me back my money.
