Just made an update to the original game, while working on the new one I found out the heat from movement was way too high and really hurting faster mechs (2.0 heat per turn instead of 2.0 heat per 4 turns!). So now its just like the BT rules and you'll only gain 0.5 heat per turn for running, 0.25 heat for walking (jump jet heat also made to be like BT). Fast mechs rejoice!

Also the new RogueMek project is coming along, the first release is still quite a ways out, but my focus for now is multiplayer (PVP) to make sure I got all the networking bits down right. Here's some work in progress teasers (still has some placeholder UI elements)

Just now finding time to work on the new one again. I've decided I need to start the UI over from scratch, the old one worked well enough as a prototype at least!

While I haven't yet started on the new UI itself beyond just the design on paper, I have started making major improvements to the board display, such as performance enhancements (all natural, honest dude!), and isometric view toggling. Enjoy :)

SOOOO PSYKEDDDD

Curious, how much more leeway are we looking at for the new roguemek, eventually? Customization, picking your whole teams' mechs?

Yes, I want to have a Mech Lab of sorts in the new game, but it won't be in the first playable release. And yes you will be able to pick your team's mechs.

Also, a while back I updated RogueMek Legacy with a custom game mode where you can drop in with and against teams of mechs of your choosing (instead of free for all arena). Just select "Custom Battle" on the screen where you normally select "Launch Arena".
