In a recent interview on NGNG, it was mentioned that weapon balance is in the court of Paul and Dave. I've never heard of Dave around here; it's not a name I recall popping up.

The only reason I'm asking is I'm wondering how long Dave has been in this position; and if it's a fairly recent change, personally thank the guy. The last two patches have been absolutely massive improvements to the game. The battles are far more strategic and entertaining with weapons finally starting to fall in line where they're supposed to be.

It's just a curiosity. Was he always in the post, or is he pretty much responsible for improving so many things recently? If it's the latter, I'd buy you a beer if I could, Dave!

EDIT: I literally could not find an appropriate forum for this question, so figured I'd put it in Gameplay Balance as I'm asking about a Gameplay Balance guy; I'm open to better ideas, heh

Echoing Victor Morson here (who btw I still vehemently object to advising Newbs about AMS ) the last few weapon balancing passes have been awesome! By awesome, I of course do not refer to the death trap known as Awesome. This Dave fellow... he should post in this thread so that we can heap praise upon him, place him on a pedestal, and perhaps prepare to LOCK TARGET, LURMERZ FIAR NAOW!

It would be a welcome distraction from our favorite target of choice
