Yes? No? Maybe?

There is a free look for looking about your Cockpit so having the Oculus Rift's head tracking looking about your own cockpit would make sense, rather than it moving your aim points.

The developer kit costs several thousand dollars. And with Oculus Rift pretty much being eye candy with no guarantees that it will be successful on the consumer market, it's too much of a gamble.

The only ones out currently are Developer Kits for the Oculus Rift and the current price for the Development Kit is $300. There is a good chance that it will be as ground breaking as 3D rendering.

Bryan Ekman has twittered that they already have the dev kit.

If they make MWO support the Rift I'm instabuying the Rift and a lot of MC.

I expect the Oculus Rift to revolutionize gaming the same way the Virtual Boy did.

"LOL VR IS DUMB IT'LL NEVER WORK LOL"

In the face of gaming technology which has come farther than anyone thought possible, in the face of computer hardware which is becoming more and more incredible on a yearly basis, in a world where almost everyone carries around a miniature computer everywhere they go... yeah, you're right, no point in trying VR since it didn't work in the past, right?

After all, it's not like people thought that television would never catch on, or that computers would never be worth owning, or that cars weren't worth the price, because early incarnations of them were crappy and bad.

Do you realize that if more people thought the way you do, there would never ever be any technological advances except by pure accident?
