Anyone have suggestions for a mech with a symmetrical 4xERLL or high mounted 2xERLL build?

Right now I'm using a Hunchback 4SP with 2xERLL and 2xML mounted symmetrically on the arms. I'm still tweaking the armor balance but it's similar to... http://mwo.smurfy-ne...d6700dfd4fc18e2

I do pretty well with it and like how I can stick one arm out from a corner and still have long range and decent damage. I take a lot of shots at 1000+ range so the ERLL is really important for my style and I don't think I can give them up. I'm ready to expand to a 2nd mech but I'm having trouble finding anything that seems interesting to me because I really hate unsymmetrical or low hardpoints.

Quickdraw 5K and Cataphract 3D: Both have a nice hardpoint arrangement so I could put them on the arms or high on the chest, and they have jumpjets, but both are much bigger and the tonnage would only allow me to put more heatsinks OR weapons but not both. I would just be a bigger and slightly more vertically-mobile version of what I have now.

Firebrand: Would be awesome if it was available for regular credits ;)

Atlas RS: I could mount 2xERLL in each arm and have 24 DHS. Seems like I would get owned up close though. The upcoming Battlemaster seems like something I will love but that isn't an option right now ;)

Stalker: Probably the most suitable but it just feels soooooo sloowwww and I always take so many side shots because it's impossible to miss those.

Hunchback 4P: 2xERLL and 6xSL or 7xSL. I could mount the 2xERLL on the arms like I have now and put a ton of small lasers in the hump, or I could put the 2xERLL in the hump for better over-the-hill shots and spread the lasers out. Essentially what I have now but a slightly different style, and good for working on elite too, but I feel like I should try something with jumpjets or much more armor to try some different styles...

Any thoughts? These credits are burning a hole in my mech but I just don't know what to do ;)

Dragon 1C, high left torso dual energy hard point, dual left arm energy hard point. Good for either ERLLAS x2 or ERPPC x2.

If one does not mind being in a Medium 'Mech (since the Hunchback was mentioned in the opening post), the Blackjack could satisfy the "symmetrical, high-mounted 2xERLL" requirement (and could potentially mount four of them, if one is willing to make substantial sacrifices in other areas), is usually jump-capable, and can be relatively fast.

Apart from the CTF-3D, the CTF-1X can also do a symmetrical energy loadout (although it doesn't look very symmetrical due to its deformed right arm and torso :)).

I've used it in a 4LL + STD300 config back when ghost heat wasn't a thing, it was glorious. It still works as a 2PP + 2LL setup now but I dislike having to carry the 4 extra tons of weaponry due to arbitrary reasons

There is a lot of ghost heat on quad lasers. I run three max now. I recommend a Blackjack with three large or two large and support weapons. Also the Quickdraw's hardpoints are mounted considerably high in the torso.

If you're in a medium, I recommend the Blackjack.

If you're willing to spend some dosh, the Firebrand will serve your needs quite well.

I recommend considering 2x(ER)LL+2x(ER)PPC on the Cataphract 3D or Catapult K2. Mixing weapon types allows alphastrikes without ghost heat. Both those mechs run pretty cool overall without ER weapons, though a pair of ERLLs shouldn't be a problem. 4xERanything will have pretty bad DPS even on a Stalker (relatively best cooling with a Standard engine and no Endo Steel)because of heat issues.

CTF-2X: 2 high mounts and many supporting fire-type options, or the 1X for more beam options or 3D if you really want JJ

CPLT-K2: 2 high mounts and good supporting options such as 2 MLAS and an AC/5 (ultra likely to add too much heat to a beam build). It's a Marauder-Light. Right now I'm using a C1 with 2 ERLLAS, 2 MPLAS and supporting SRMs; while it gives up the high mounts, it has JJ and the super-traversing CPLT torso-twist

Don't discount the Quickdraw (in Grasshopper-Light configuration) and the Jagermech (in Rifleman configuration). The Orion gives good options as well.

For assault, you have many choices. My favorite for beam is still the AWS-9M. fast, missile support, still enough beams though none particularly high.

Awesome 8T mounts 2 energy weapons per arm. But with 4 ER Large Lasers you will toast yourself no matter what chassis. If youre looking for a mech that can stack 4 ER LLs symetrically while carrying the most possible heat sinks, then get a Stalker 3F with a 300 STD engine and standard structure. It allows for 24 DHS and 4 (ER) LLs.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet as I just skimmed through the previous answers, but I love the quickdraw variants for their high hard points. 2 of them have 4 energy hardpoints on the torso, all mounted pretty high. And I run 4 LL on one of them.

Sorry for the delay I've been busy at work but thanks for all the replies. Most of the suggestions are things I've considered so I feel like I'm on the right track and paying attention to the things that matter.

It lacks jumpjets and high mounted weapons, and I know that the CT sucks, but I've actually started looking at the upcoming Orion mechs. Even with all the drawbacks, the hardpoint variety and symmetry is pretty awesome and seems like it would allow for some really awesome configs.

(ignore the armor distribution in these...)

ON1-K with 4xERLL on the arms, 22 DHS, still 75kph: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...975aaccb9a5bc04

ON1-VA with 2xERLL and 4xSRM6 on the arms, 1x MG, 20DHS, for 66 firepower and almost 8dps! (just don't lose your arms!): http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=101&l=d2ff24ac113e09572f1beda8b6b90671b2cf26b6 (it's not showing the MG for some reason...)

I don't know if the V or M have any nice builds to set them apart but all four models have that ballistic slot and a nice distribution of energy and missile hardpoints with enough tonnage to allow for a huge variety. It also gives me another week to save some more credits to fully outfit one from the start :)
