I really like this model that PGI has created with offering the Hero for MC first, then waiting a week and releasing all standard variants for MC, then waiting another week to release all standard variants for C-Bills. It allows PGI to generate some extra income without hurting the F2P player base.

I got me a Protector, so I am gonna wait a week for the C-Bill variants to master mah Mech out!

i got myself the cheapest variant and i have to say its fun,nice damage output . i will play this one before upgrading it etc

WTF why dose Orion M not have ECM? If DDC can have ECM Orion M can have ECM PGI come on!

Breached 600 yet? I did. Though I'm hesitant to put up more until I see if Paul's going to continue using exclusively his heat scale, or if he'll actually fix the source of the high alpha, high amount of fire issue (i.e. our insanely higher than MW4 thresholds depending on how many heatsinks you shove in).

Also looking forward to see if they put third person's crosshair into first person to help with pinpoint issues.

If it weren't a numbers issue (i.e. it's easier to finish the hero and slap it up first), I'd prefer standard mechs for , then for , and the hero in that order, so we don't have so many heroes around.

Meh, I'm not too concerned over it, Hero Mech is literally, just the flavor of the week. When standard variants are released for cbills you'll see a helluva lot less heroes from then on.

If they really wanted to sweeten the deal, they should actually give a cbill bonus to the nonhero mechs while the week lasts, double up to pay for the changes you make :)

Very unsuccessful machine. The central torso section is so big that it is necessary to paint a target circle. Survivability is much lower than 60-65 t Mechs. Piece of junk.
