Going to run a simulation of my own to see peak short-term DPS numbers.

By my calculations, the damage amplification is now very nearly 30% up to 3 seconds and about 15% in the long run.

UAC5=3.83 dps
AC5 = 3.33 dps

BUT you get less ammo per ton. Yes, you have the POTENTIAL for more burst damage before they jam but then you lose your weapon for 5 seconds...and if you roll snake eyes and jam early, DPS is lower than AC5.

So is the potential burst damage, or 20% potential lower burst damage worth it? I think not; Others may think so.

You have not only the chance of more burst damage, but also the likelihood. With three guns, your chances of doing worse with double-fire are only about 20%. For a 3-second burst, the expected DPS is about 4.32.
