This probably isn't a new player question, but there's no other good category for it.

Is it possible to have two MWO accounts merged? Not forum IDs, but actual MWO game accounts.

If so, what happens to the mechs, experience, C-Bills, and any unlocks?

Nope.

Such an ability would probably just be used to farm accounts and then sell them under the table, dangerous territory for a FTP game.

What Redshift said, it would indeed be a very bad idea.

That said I think I read somewhere that they may be bringing in plans to allow you to gift mechs to other players.. Which also sounds like a bad idea for the same reason..

The entire issue could have been sidestepped if they introduced the option for multiple characters/pilots for each account.

They could even charge MC for extra character slots.

Yeah, that'd be great cause then I could create a new account, get my cadet bonus, buy a couple of mechs and add them to my account........

oh wait.....sounds like a door to players abusing the system and getting benefits without earning or paying for them.
