I am getting really annoyed at people who at the start of the match just randomly trigger their weapons and shot me in the back. It happened twice in the same match the other day (possibly on purpose but I didn't see who actually shot me). The damage was minimal, but it is happening way to often.
I understand the need to check how your heat cycles on different maps and I am not demanding people don't fire, I am just saying watch where you are shooting. I also am not complaining about being shot by friendly when in a furball. It happens, and as long as it wasn't deliberate, I can forgive.

Just a personal annoyance.

I am getting annoyed by people that walk in my fire and shoot me for it. If I see that guy again, I'll instantly engage him, what ever team he is in.

If you don't watch out you deserve it.

Are you firing randomly or at a target? If you are firing randomly they have a point but they shouldn't shoot you back unless you do it repeatedly. If they get between you and an enemy mech then they are at fault.

there is a testing grounds for people to test their heat and weapon groups. i hate it when i am brawling with someone and then another of my team mates wants to get in the action and steps between us. i keep firing a couple times before i attempt to walk around him

Firing your weapons at the start of the match is the sign of a rank amateur.

I can tell if or how fast we're gonna get wiped out by how many guys do it on my team.

Accidental FF does happen sometimes.

There's no excuse for shooting someone at the drop point.

Ive been teamkilled 3X today, in the morning alone, So angry I've not played the game the remainder of the day. I may as well take My founders Altas and light you careless idjits up @ the drop point. With massive alpha strikes of death........

I've actually had far fewer "Alpha Start-ups" than in the past. What I'm experiencing now are noobs going "OMG RED BOX/TRIANGLE!" and trying to shoot said enemy through my mech even though I'm RIGHT in front of them. Pro Tip: Your lasers/missles/autocannon DO NOT pass harmlessly through your team members.

my favorite is when your barely holding on in a 1v1 at a cap point and your team mate lets loose with his alpha from 1k away and blows your one clean leg off at the knee.

Is it to hard to turn your mech around and aim at the fracking wall and fire?
"he ran into my fire" at the beginning of a match is NOT AN EXCUSE! You should not be firing your weapons while the lights and other mechs are moving off. If you hit them or they cross into your path. ITS THE SHOOTERS FAULT! No mech has eyes in the back of their heads to see dolts shooting in the direction mechs are moving off in!

If im running a brand new build or a funsys build I just built I always fire all energy based weapons at the ground to see if im comfortable with the keys I assigned my weapons.

I assure you shooting say ML's or PPC's at the ground is no way to tell if your team is going to loose, admittedly I rarely play pug matches, and that's for sake of my sanity as I do not enjoy loosing.

Theres no nerfing the clan UAC20 without completely changing its mechanics, they would haft to butcher it so far it would no longer be a clan AC20, or a Ultra AC.

I have no issue with that, my issue is when they fire them in my direction. People need to learn some basic weapon safety and discipline.

And if you are not prepared to take orders and join in with a potential premade group with a plan that uses tactics......and you ignore them completely and cost them a battle by leading the other foolish newbs to their death, you have no business strapping into a militarized mech unit of death. DISCIPLINE DAMMIT!!!! YOU SILLY MAGGOTS!!!! WHEN ARE YOU GONNA LEARN NOT TO MESS WITH YOUR CHAIN OF COMMAND! I WILL BREAK YOU BOY! I WILL SEND YOU BACK TO BOOTCAMP!

LOL
When I say weapon discipline I mean don't point at friendlies, don't pull the trigger when pointing at friendlies when you ignored the first part.

You are right Brian, but your message will fall on deaf ears. Personally if I can definitively ID the mech that shot me I return the favor, if not I just stop and let them all pass me, they can catch the first enemy salvo.

What is sad is that so many of them have the attitude of JohnnyWayne up there in that they think it is your fault for getting in their way. They don't see that they did anything wrong, and you have no reason to be mad at them. I can understand the noobs making an honest mistake, they can be educated, it's the so called vets who keep doing it anyway who have no hope of redemption.

Wrong, that is what the testing grounds are for. Pick the hottest map, drop into the testing grounds and blaze away.

Firing away at the drop like a bozo, only encourages other, newer players to do the same. How are they going to know any different. It's up to all of us (and yes that includes you) to set a proper example for new players. They imitate what they see.

And yes, bozo is what bozo does. If a bunch of "guys" on my team are blazing away at the drop, it shows their mindset and cognitive skills in game. So yes, the more team mates that do it, the faster we're gonna get steam rolled by the opposing team.

It has been a pretty reliable sign of how the match is going to go.
