Haunted by my choice to use my actual last name as my pilot name now, since including it would end up with either a pretty weird looking "Hayashi" Hayashi option, or with a full name without the callsign.

I set up my call sign on my profile page way back in the day, but did not put my real name in the 'First Name' 'Last Name' fields. I would now like to edit those fields to use my real name so I can select the First Name "Pyrometheus" Last Name option.

How do I now edit my first and last name to be my actual first and last?

I'm thinking of just asking Support to nuke my Last Name field so that I can have the option where the callsign is placed between inverted commas, but so it doesn't appear twice as well. We can't edit the fields ourselves without Support's help.

I don't know if you're trying to point me at something to do here but, if you are, it would appear you do not understand my problem statement.


My options for credit selections are:

Pyrometheus

Pyro "Pyrometheus" Metheus

Pyro Metheus

No Credit Displayed.

No, I understand you perfectly, but you didn't get the reason why I quoted their Facebook message.

What I am saying is that it is impossible for players to change our own name fields, but Support is able to do it. To change your First Name and Last Name fields to your actual name you have to email them and ask them to change it.

The options are always:

[Callsign]

[First Name] "[Callsign]" [Last Name]

[First Name] [Last Name]

None.

We can't change our callsigns, but first names and last names Support can change. In the case of your problem your real name isn't even in your account, and needs to be added in. In the case of my problem my callsign IS my last name, so I need to change my last name to nothing. In both cases, it's problems Support has to solve for us since we aren't given the rights to change our own first and last names.

I was having the same problem with my first name until I remembered it was intentional.

Not attaching my real name to it.. (simply because I'm a little averse to shoving my real name all over the internet/world..)

But I will attach Livewyr to it..because while it isn't quite the game I want, it isn't impossible to become that game. The game still has a [very large] amount of possibilities and room to grow.
