Clan chick with a neural feedback problem: 20/10/2013


Here is a speed painting I made a while ago - the time allowed was 15 minutes. I'll be excited to see how this mech is eventually modeled for MWO, as I really LOVE their designs. (One presumes it will look much alike to the Catapult, of course.)

Very not bad. I like the colors and the detail on the Torso. Though, it could be a little bigger. The 'mech. I think it's bigger then that.

actually, I figure it's about correct by the actual TT scale, where teh tallest mech is only 14 meters, not 20 like MWO.

Yeah, I was going by TT more than anything else, and the size of the cockpit relative to the size of the VW.

unless it is the MadCat III which is the medium (55 tons) verison of the original

Thank you Zatnik. You can use if you want. I don't remember where I grabbed this.

I remember seeing a picture from the TT of a pair of towering Timber Wolves running towards a group of men. They looked pretty big.

Quite possible. Not like TT art had a lot of regulation. The 14 meters though is a direct quote from the director of Battletech Line Development for CGL. 8-14 meters is the range given. Also, compare this picture to it:



I've always remembered this pic, because I feel it is THE quintessential version of the TimberWolf. I even based my own "Wardancer" variant directly on the weapons pictured there.
