I've seen several issues where:

I have LOS of my target
I fire my weapons
said weapon appears to collide with ground or map object in front of me on invisible border
Weapon does damage anyways, as indicated by crosshair turning red

Was able to do this consistently with the blackjack, just barely cresting a hill with an AC5. The projectile would appear to collide with the hill about 2 feet above it, but then I would see my crosshair turn red with each shot. Over and over again.
